RE: Fulltiming with pets?

Several years ago we had a yellow lab, Jake, a k-9 dropout, and the floor of our truck camper was all dog. He weighed about 115 and was the greatest dog ever. However, after truck camping, not fulltiming we then decided to go with a fifth wheel because of Jake. There was me, DH and the dog but it was crowded. Sadly, after a year or so after upgrading we had to put Jake down. Jake was good in the camper but he always seemed to be where we were stepping. If he was left in the TC for a short amount of time then we always left the AC on for him.

RE: When the Snowbirds are Gone

It always amazes me how different the parks look without the snowbirds. I just commented to DH about a park we pass quite often how different it looks now. It started to thin out around end of March and now it's has very few RVs.

3rd trip and have one more planned

Just got home today from a 4 day trip, took boat, wet a hook and had a really good time. It's such a different type of camping but it sure is enjoyable and simple. Loving it!!

RE: Attaching etrack to floor

We put bolts, nuts and washers about Every 6 holes. Near the end of the etrax the bolts were closer because wanted to make sure we hit stringer. It was a lot of work but bikes are secure. We haul 2 softails. Love the etrax with the clips, we tie coolers and almost anything down.

RE: Need Recommendation on Ext. Floppy Disk Drive ..

Just a thought...does your computer have the program to read the old disk... it's been awhile since the 3.5 disk drive was the thing. Just thinking...good luck.

RE: 2011 Ram dually: best susp. setup, tie-downs & hitch exten?

You're right about the length of the extension. A few inches is acceptable but it will interfere if any more. Tie it down with a TorkLift system. Frame mounted is the way go with a heavy camper like yours. The Fast Guns are great. Go to their website. They have a video of an off-roader who got too far off road. I have the SuperHitch so can't talk about compatibility with Curt or Reese. A few folks on here have made there own. Go with the SuperHitch and you won't be disappointed and No, I don't work for TorkLift. Agree!!! A real person will answer the telephone and will help you with any questions you may have.

RE: Looking for a grill

sounds like a weber baby q 100 might be on your list to check out. The Weber Q requires the high pressure connection. Install an Extend-A-Stay adapter and hook your Grill to that. Works perfectly. ...and that be a oops...or too many glasses of wine...sorry!

RE: Downsizing to B+

RE: Ice Cream Sandwich

New releases are NOT available on all Android phones. If the phone manufacturer chooses not to update their phone you are stuck with whatever version you had. Not that this is a bad thing, but my wife and I have Android phones which are less than 6 months different in age. My Galaxy says updated but her phone still have the software from the day it was purchased. Yep, exactly how it works!

RE: Ice Cream Sandwich

All of the android OS are named after a dessert. I guess someone wanted to make the updates mean something that we could relate to.

Lance 850 Sewer Hose Storage

My neighbor is looking at downsizing their lance due to weight issues and they are looking at the 850. Their present Lance has the sewer hose storage in bumper. Where is the sewer hose storage in the Lance 850? Anyone care to chime in on any cons of the unit as well the pros? Thanks....

RE: 8 days and now home

You folks live in a great part of the State. Within easy reach of both coasts, not over crowded, sections of 'old Florida' at your feet, local access to the forest and beautiful springs. And the best part is... you can camp year round.:B Yea Buddy! It's just so hot here in July and August, the times when you can smell the grass burn, I would just stay home and camp in my house. LOL! We do have great state parks and nice places to camp.

8 days and now home

We went to Sebastian Inlet State Park for 8 wonderful days. We just returned home yesterday and I LOVED IT! We have almost ran the gamut of all types of camping. This livin lite 10.0 compared to the previous TC is awesome! I guess a dually with 8' bed makes the difference. I also love the simplicity of truck camping. 3 most important items to me...my own toilet, my own bed and an AC....we are set!!! We actually have our routine so we don't fall over one another. It's great! Next up is taking the boat and trying to wet a hook while bass fishing. DH sez we gots to rest up...I am anxiously waiting. I don't even miss all my space in the previous 31' fifth wheel...Imagine that!!!
