RE: PUP Awning worth the darn?
We use ours 90% of the time. I cook on the outside stove which is under the awning, the shade is nice and the wind has not been such a issue over the years. Don't take minute to set it up and I can do it myself, though 2 IS easier. The bag started tearing away from one end so I drilled a hole above the zipper just below the last retaining screw and used a plastic quick tie to loop through the screw into the holes in the zipper to carry the weight. Worked great!
rv show - popup no show
We went to the London Ontario 40th RV show this weekend. We were looking to up-grade our Sante Fe to a 12 ft or high wall, or whatever. There were a total of 2 -10 ft pups! A ton of light weight TT's and 3 hybreds, along with the the usual 5ers, mo-homes ect.
I spoke to a dealer who said he doesn't even get them as "no one buys the things"!
But I gotta say ...... the entry level PUP was $11K, not far off the hybreds and l/w pull behinds.
Is this typical to what other's are seeing?
