I've had the Westinghouse for about three years now, Thanksgiving gift from DH, and it works wonderfully. Last year I gave ones that I bought from Wal-mart at about $30.00 each if I remember correctly and they even came with a remote but I'm sorry I don't remember the brand. As far as I know they are still working and well enjoyed. I read all the info on all the different brands in the store and decided that the sales one were a good choice. I don't think these are really high tech items as you can even find them in digital photo key chains and tree ornaments. Get one that looks good to you and fits the budget. Include some personal photos and you'll have a great gift. Happy holidays!
RE: Whats the best & worse of Class A-ing & Gas vs Diesel ??
We bought a 32' 2007 gas unit in April and in October we traded it for a 2005 35' DP. We wanted the extra carrying capacity and the power for hills etc. DH likes the handling so much more. I drove the gas unit but haven't tried the DP yet. A friend told me that he would rather have a used DP than a new gas but that's sure to fire some people up. The main decision you need to consider really is how many miles and where you plan to travel. That should help. Tiffen is an excellent product. Good luck and happy travels with whatever you choose.
