Ok Hybrid owners I already asked the TT guys for suggestions now to ask you. I have a pup now love it just hate not having all the storage and room we would like. The only thing we really hate about the pup is closing it up in the rain. Now we are looking to move to a hard side TT within the next year. We need something to sleep 4 adults and 2 childrn at one time at most. 80% of the time it will be 2 adults and 1 child. What would your suggestions be and why go with a hybrid and not the full blown TT?!?!? Thanks

RE: Want Suggestions

I know all about weights....Only travelers in the truck are 2 adults and one child at most at any time. The 2013 f150's have over 2000lbs of payload matching those 3/4 tons everyone brags about using to only pull 6000 lbs ughhhhhhhh I dont want a weight war to start here dont need that

Want Suggestions

Im very open for this looking for suggestions of my next TT. Have a highwall pup now looking to move to a TT in the next year. Have looked in the past at the bullet 281bh and jayco 26bh. I have a 2011 f-150 ecoboost with 1500 lbs of payload. What I am looking for is a TT that can handle 4 adults and a child or 2 at most at the same time. From your experiences what are your suggestions?? I would like to stay at 30' to 31' tounge to bumper at most as for I want to keep the TT at my house and not some storage place. Im soooo undecided and dont want to purchase something and in a year hate it. We love the pup we have now the coleman niagara but want a hardwall trailer for the storage reasons. Thanks and if any more questions for me just ask! Thanks again everyone :?

RE: Are stabilizer bars necessary?

I say no weight distribution is needed but I would say that a anti sway bar is a must..The anti sway bar will help keep the pup under control in situations that arent predicted like deer running out in front of you or just crazy drivers where you need to move lanes quickly or slam the brakes on fast I know mine has kept my pup under control MANY times!

RE: Any tips for buying a used PUP?

My 2cents I have owned both a pup with no slide or shower and now a pup with a slide and shower. I WOULD NEVER EVER BUY ANOTHER PUP WITHOUT THE SLIDE NOR SHOWER. I use the shower every time I camp and that is about 45 nights a year average. People say they have mold issues with a shower in a pup well thats BS cause I have none in mine what so ever. I have all the comforts of a full size TT in a pup and get great gas mileage towing too. To the OP what it comes down to is your budget, what your really looking for, and of course the limit of what your vehicle can safely tow. Take your time looking at them all now and do research as it seems your doing and you will learn alot as this site is great. Good luck in your search and when you find that perfect pup for you. Enjoy it and make many great memories! :)

RE: Used pop-up values

Really to me year really doesnt matter its the condition the pup is in. $560 isnt to much at all for that price I would assume no furnace fridge not working wheel bearings and tires needing replaced and the canvas either torn to shreads or full of mold and mildew. But some have gotten lucky and found great deals like that just from people wanting to dump them fast not caring what they got for there pup.

RE: 2007 Fleetwood Evolution E1 - Power Question(s)

Yes the battery will charge from the converter and the fridge will chill usually takes a good 12 hours to become cold. If the pups plugged in just turn the fridge on electric to chill it off and get it ready.
