RE: Generator Maintenance

send a sample of it to Blackstone Labs and they will test it and tell you if it needs changed yet or not. I just had my diesel engine oil tested and they said I can wait at least another 4000 miles before I change it.

RE: Need GS ESP to answer question please

I sure would question this too as the battery caught fire because of the wiring being wrong in the first place.

RE: Camping World Customer Service

The word Camping World and service rarely go together. Sad to say but I totally agree with you!

RE: Going full time

i give away whatever my family wants to them, then I sell what I can, and then donate the rest. Did it once already but had a family tragedy and had to settle back down and raise a 1 year old. He's 17 now so we are getting ready to head out on the road again in June 2018!

RE: Kwikee Steps won't work

I had this issue and decided to just buy one on Amazon that looked the same. After changing it out I took the old one apart and the hard plastic bushings around the gear were chewed up bad to the point one was just powder. Been fine ever since. I think I paid $45.

RE: Winegard Garbage

I had the same issue with a brand new tailgater satellite. After three months I stopped being able to get a signal, it just ran and ran but didnt lock on. After getting connected to King Company they told me to open the case(it would still be covered under warranty. Then they had me check the movement. It had a bad motor for one of the adjustments. I sent it back to the factory and they sent me a new unit. That was three years ago and no more issues. I guess having one on the roof and removing it over and over would be a pain....hope they get you one that works right!

RE: BEWARE Sportys To Go Tire/Auto Service I-15 Beaver UT

So sad that Companies are out there that try to cheat you! I had it happen at a CAT service center with a good reputation. I caught them after replacing a cracked coolant fan on my CAT engine and installing it backward sucking heat in instead of away from the engine causing an overheat issue. Never had an overheat issue till I took it there. It took them over three weeks and removing the Radiator and CAC saying they were clogged up(radiator shop said they were in great shape)..... Then when I called them out on it the shop manager said they had just realized that it was put on backwards. Then they tried to charge me for all the labor removing and installing the radiator and CAC. I think not. Be vigilant and don't be trusting, thats the way it is unfortunately!

RE: List of towed (toad) vehicles

Thats so true, most salesmen or women have no clue as to what is or isn't towable behind a motorhome, especially when asking about a used vehicle. If their isn't even a manual in the glove box ask them to find one and show you in a manual that it can be towed.

RE: Using King Tailgater for 2 receivers

I have the one with one connector and was told that it has to go straight to the receiver for it to work. I think it would be the same for two cable wires, each would have to go to its respective receiver.

RE: Your Experience With Dish Satellite

I have used Dish with a Dish tailgater satellite for the last five years. No complaints really, sometimes when calling for an issue, you get someone from the Philippines call center but they speak English well. Only issue I had was with the first tailgater I had quit working after about six months, but after troubleshooting on the phone with me they determined it was an internal issue. I sent it back and they overnighted me a brand new one free of charge.

RE: price for baseplate installation

On a Traverse its about an hour install according to the Roadmaster website. It's not too difficult to install one but I would say about $150-$200...
