RE: Help deciding between 2 motorhomes

Newmar now that I have looked at them both. Much more for your dollars as a whole. I looked for two years before I found the right coach, then the wife told me(LOL) it was the one...2001 Beaver Contessa with 32000 miles and clean clean clean..... I think the Newmar is much better made and better interior by far!

RE: Had sleep study last night: calling all auto cpap users!

There are a bunch of different machines ie: full face mask, nose only, one's that fit in the nostrils. I have one with a full mask covering nose and mouth, and a humidifier that holds distilled water. My wife says I don't hardly move around at all since I started using this. Before I was toss and turning all night and woke up tired.

RE: Looking for center console for Class A

I put two stainless steel fold down cup holders on my sidewalls for coffee and drinks. They work great for me.

RE: Follow Up: Camping World does this seem right?

Sounds like they try to bait you with a flyer, then when you go in to have it done things change,in their favor, and end up costing a lot more than you thought it would be.

RE: Cancel my Membership

these things happen many times over when you have the middle man. GSRA collects the money and subcontracts the job out to the local tow operators to do the work. Sometimes depending on where you are located you get good service and sometimes not. Flip of a coin I guess.

RE: New Gas Class A vs. Older DP

I ended up with a 2001 Diesel after looking at new gas coaches and what they wanted for them. Non in the range I looked at were very well made(under $100G). I paid in the $60's but did a lot of upgrades and replaced a lot of things myself for about $15G...but now I have a like new DP that's better than some of the newer ones, and I know whats been done and when now!

RE: toilet problem

are you sure the cutoff valve is turned all the way on if you have one? Or a line somewhere has come loose, but there would be a leak if that's the case!

RE: Patty O Rooms???

We had one when we lived in our Class 'C' full time in 1998. It was ok wind wise but kind of a pain to setup. I wouldn't bother having one again....but I am getting older and lazier too.....

RE: Windshiels Curtains

I have never personally cleaned mine. I have heard of one method which I still haven't had the nerve to try yet! Take the curtains down, remove all the hooks, then use rubber bands to kind of hold them together loosely, and using woolite wash them on a gentle cycle using cold water in your washing machine. Do not put in dryer but spread them out and hang up to dry outside. Not my recommendation so I have no input as too how well it works, guess that's why I am apprehensive still...and afraid they may fall apart from age....LOL!

RE: Looking for first DP

RE: Dealership service challenges if buying coach elsewhere???

Some of the smaller dealerships don't have the manpower to work on everyone's coachers and prefer to work on only what they sell, or make you leave it and wait. I personally bought my DP from a private seller and have had no issues having repairs done at three shops, two did extended warranty work for me.
