RE: Is the pool of 4 down towable vehicles diminishing??

The new car"the Elio" three wheeled auto with an 85 mpg fuel rate is supposed to go into production in 2019. And I have been questioning the engineers about that being four wheel down towing capable. They have now finally said it will be.

Now there is a good idea. Electric vehicle that can be charged while towing it down the road.

RE: Rock Crusher Canyon RV Resort

They have an outdoor venue that hosts concerts every once in a while too. Right near the campground but not close enough to disturb you. Its not every weekend or anything like that. My sis in law lives across the road from there a 1/2 mile away from the campground.

RE: Wax to use?

Shurhold Pro Polish from Amazon. About $85 a gallon but it goes a long way.

RE: Reservation Timeline

We are going full time next June and I am making State Park reservations now as you can do them 11 months out. COE's are mostly 6 months and the Military campgrounds are all different.

RE: Don't you just love it when:

I sure hope so. The old service manager that I knew well retired so don't know the "new guy"!. I do most all the work myself and take it for the stuff I can't do because of needing a lift or special tools I don't have. Air over hydraulic brakes on my coach.

Don't you just love it when:

Don't you just love it when you take your RV diesel pusher in for service to have the front brakes checked. Then at closing time you get a message from the service manager stating he would like me to come in at 8 am and show me some things! I need brake pads on both sides and a left front caliper replaced. Then he says he wants to show me what we are up against and show me some numbers. Geez. Is this guy upbeat, or what?

Wonderful video and drone footage. Makes us more and more anxious to hit the road.

RE: Best wax or polish...

I bought a gallon of Shurhold YBP-0203 Pro Polish Wax on Amazon for about $85. I love using it as it doesn't powder up when removing it. It goes on easy and comes off easy.

RE: How to test/check dish hook up

If on the outside is labeled cable it means for regular cable from a campground for TV. Dish receivers have to have a direct run to the receiver in order to work. Be sure to have your tv set to cable to work.

Roadmaster towbar

Well, I was given a Roadmaster towbar when we bought our last coach. I did some checking on their website and discovered that they have a kit to rebuild your towbar and make it like new again. It came with new bushings, washers, new nuts and hardware needed to make it new again. I got it all apart, sanded it some and repainted it. Reassembled it with the new parts and it is in like new condition. Total cost was only about $50 for everything.

RE: replaced ice maker

I just replaced my icemaker a couple of weeks ago. It took mine a good 24 hours to make the first batch of ice. I had to turn the frig on because I had it off. It's possible you may have some residue in your water line going to the icemaker. Or check the shutoff valve for the icemaker to be sure its all the way opened.

RE: Age Restrictions on Class A's

When they ask how old my RV is, I always ask how old their campground is. My Beaver DP is a 2001 so almost 17 years old, but I get asked all the time and most think it is quite new.

RE: Tailgater

I had a tailgator that had a motor inside go bad. It would move around and stop side to side but not move up and down to lock in. Sent it back to King Controls and they sent me a new one. It was under warranty still.
