Full Timing Questions

We are getting our plans started to go full time in the near future. The biggest issues are with VA, appointments and getting meds while on the road... we will be back in Florida for winters so we can do yearly appointments fine. Meds are the biggest issue I see as I have some I fill monthly and have to have sent to me....complicates things.... Also is it best to have a mail forwarding service set up and how do you do that with VA wanting an address for your VA you go to? I know most bills and such can all be done online so no snail mail from most of them....so shouldn't be much mail....

RE: Finally building an RV Garage at the house

We were thinking about a carport for our DP but have decided not to....gonna sell the place and travel in three years. We don't enjoy the work involved taking care of so much anymore. Ready to have the rv and no more. Wish we could do it now.

RE: Ft. Desoto Park..

some sites there are way better than others for space. One section is for pets only. I have never stayed there but have been there visiting friends there. Many sites back right up to the bay.....beautiful area but pricey...can you say Florida, the beach and jack prices up.

RE: Rude buyer towards sales person - seeing the other side

I have had so called dealings with many sales people and also the managers. It really gets funny when you strike a nerve especially when you know the figures and know as much as they do. They seem to get attitudes quickly when you know your stuff. I have walked out many times when they don't follow through with what they say once they put it on paper. I don't see where the buyer did anything wrong, he was negotiating. They shouldn't be doing it where others can hear them anyhow!

RE: L1 OP Code on Norcold Fridge--Help (Norcold Recall Issue)

I have had to have my Revision E sensor replaced twice under warranty because of failing. Mine wouldn't reset either.

RE: Are Slide Lock Bars Necessary?

If you have ever been driving down the road and had a slide come all the way out you would! I had my coach in for jack issues(hyd) and after they finished working on it they didn't refill the tank. After I got it back and left for a trip I was making a right hand turn and the LR slide came all the way out fast almost causing an accident. I called and told them, said to bring it in, luckily I was able to get the slide back in and found a 2x4 I had and placed it inside to lock slide in. LR slide hydraulic actuated and low fluid didn't keep slide locked in place.

RE: Repairs for Brake Buddy

Brake Buddy is very easy to work with. The plug in connector broke and was still under the warranty. I sent it back, and they checked it out...replaced the compressor as it was noisier than it was supposed to be...No charge at all.

RE: Just read in MH mag..

Not really true. If you have the air release valves and open them to bleed some air out and have a lot of water coming out, yes, time to change. Depending on where you live and humidity and dampness makes a big difference. I recently did mine but had no water from valves. Just changed to do being 2nd owner and wanted to have for recording maintenance.

RE: Been awhile

Welcome back. Glad things are getting better for you. We kind of know what is going on with you. We raised and adopted our nephew from age 1. He is now 14 and a freshman in High School and doing wonderful. We are so very proud of him.
