RE: Not sure if its' paint or gel coat or ? on roof peeling

Mine does that to around the curved roof edge and the front and rear caps. I sanded off the bubbles with very fine sandpaper and wax and buff it like crazy...

transmission fluid change

I have a DP Cat 330 2001 Beaver with an Allison tranny. I have owned it for 1 year and don't know when the tranny fluid has been changed. I have seen on here and the Beaver forum that if you have dextron 111 to change over to transyd fluid and change both filters also. When do I need to do this....after so many miles,or now. Coach has 34000 miles on it.

RE: Camping World Greenwood IN.. Backs out of sale!

If the deal on the contract is a real good deal then I would pursue it. If not then I would walk and go elsewhere with my business. If you wanted to back out after all is signed they would really let you have it......it sounds like a binding contract with what you have told us....
good luck and keep us informed of the outcome!

Rest Area in Florida!

We pulled in to a rest area on US 19 near Chiefland, Florida last month.it had a weird setup for pulling in.Two Motorhomes were facing North in the parallel spots so I went around the bathroom area, a real tight fit, but survived it. Pulled in behind these 2 coaches. When I got out I looked and noticed that they pulled in that way because they were headed North and to get across had to exit the Northern exit to cross main highway. I could and should have went straight in and parked parallel to them facing South and go out the South merge lane. Reading what I wrote even is confusing me more. Anyone else been there, done that?

I did my own and it was quite easily done. A few wrenches and elbow grease and a couple hours. 2005 CRV!

RE: Aqua hot question

I always use the diesel switch for the aquahot....the electric switch doesn't heat the water too well, but if I am hooked up to shore power I leave the electric switch on too....

insurance companies are in business to save themselves money, so your best bet would be an attorney to handle the issue.

RE: Norcold recall of the recall

I am just now having the same issue. I had the light come on the box an hour after I arrived 5 hours from home for a week camping trip. I arrived on Easter weekend on a Saturday and luckily got in touch with a mobile mech.
He told me to temp bypass the sensor box and keep an eye on temps(just in case) so that's what I did.
When I returned, I made a service apps and took DP to shop. They had three items to fix, LR slide issue, jack issue and fridge sensor. Two weeks later they called and said all complete.
Went to pick it up, slide fixed, jack issue(cant fix as no parts still available) refer sensor box replaced under Norcold warranty. Paid the bill and came home......
The next day service writer called and told me that refer sensor box was trouble shot and determined to be bad. The service tech ordered and received the box but never installed it. Now he is sending out the mobile unit to install the new box....what a pain in the butt!
