RE: Tenth Annual RV.net Class B Rally (B10)

Shaaron & I would like to extend our gratitude to those attending the B-10 Rally and their continued friendship. We feel badly that may others could not be here but understand their reasons why. We send an extra THANK YOU to Paul & Sherry Ray, John Harrop, and Karsten Askland for staying an extra day to help straighten things up. Also, we wish to extend our THANKS, and from our Campground Host, to each of you for leaving the Campground in wonderful condition. Some previous Rallies had left the Campground in a mess and RV.Net campers had all their sites cleaned up. THANKS to you all from all of us! The Ray's, John and Karsten, have all left now and once again we are here alone with Charlene & Mike. We are waiting on having the tent taken down and the tables and chairs returned to the Fairgrounds before returning items that were not used. We also need to visit our WONDERFUL caterer, and get the bill settled. We may even have some of her wonderful food and have a dinner. I also need to settle payment for the Campground which should be easy. Our Campground Host, and those mentioned above after a few hours of cleaning, all had a wonderful post-rally dinner in the Rec Hall, last evening, with much of what was left over. I still have not had any cobbler. :R We're are happy to hear everyone had a grand time and look forward seeing everyone again. Safe travels to each of you!

Of the 33 registered vehicles, 25 had arrived Thursday evening. Of the 9 coming for the FIRST time, 7 have arrived. Weather should be much better today!

RE: Tenth Annual RV.net Class B Rally (B10)

First B-10 campers have arrived and they are First Timers. David & April Brimhall arrived this afternoon. Tent is supposed to be set up this Wednesday morning. Should be ready for getting started on Thursday. Looking forward seeing everyone. It's been lonesome being the ONLY campers in a Campground. :C PLEASE remember, they only accept cash or check. Got it right this time. ;)

Barbara, I second you bringing a space heater. That's what we have been using for four days now. The evenings and nights are cool to COLD down into the high 30's to low 40's. Supposed to hit 50 today and 60's tomorrow and MAYBE near 70 on Wed.

RE: Tenth Annual RV.net Class B Rally (B10)

Just so there's no secrets, it is currently snowing at the campground in Kincheloe and Sault Ste. Marie. They say we may get 2 inches. With temps going up, in a couple days, it will all be a memory by the time everyone arrives. The water was turns on yesterday and the wifi should be on Monday. Temps they are saying here mid 60-s to 70.

George & Lesley, Sure would be wonderful seeing you both again and with a BRAND NEW ERA! Hope you can make it the 17th. Good Luck with the knee surgery this Friday. We'll be in Kincheloe. Bob & Sharon, Feel like I'm writing to us! :R We're going to try and make the Social in September. Hope to see you and our many friends.

RE: Tenth Annual RV.net Class B Rally (B10)

QJane, you better get started. Oh wait. We're leaving next Thursday and we haven't started yet, either! ;) Actually, we have so much packed for the Rally that we have no place left to sleep in the Roadtrek. That's why we have to get to the UP in one day. It's an easy drive of about 5 hours. See ya,

RE: Tenth Annual RV.net Class B Rally (B10)

After speaking with past Host of B Rallies, we have made some changes to the program, especially on Friday. Nothing anyone has to be concerned with just trying to work out a schedule. BOY! This is fun! :R REALLY! Upon arrival, someone should be nearby to greet you! We will make registration and parking as painless as possible. ;) If you need assistance parking or setting up, PLEASE ask. I hope to work out parking locations for everyone. Coming from Interstate 75 on M80, PLEASE do HEED the speed limits on the curves. Their sharpness can be deceiving! See you soon!

RE: Tenth Annual RV.net Class B Rally (B10)

Anne & Dick, I know Shaaron & I will be there for a couple weeks. We'll be there 9 May. BTW, the weather from today to 11 May is the mid to high 60's with a couple 70's thrown in. NO MORE SNOW! At least, for a while. :) Looking forward seeing everyone again. Have a SAFE and enjoyable journey.

RE: Tenth Annual RV.net Class B Rally (B10)

Spoke with the caterer this week and she assured us the snow was melting. Mid to high 40's and some low 50's through next Sunday. That's melting weather.

RE: Tenth Annual RV.net Class B Rally (B10)

Karsten, You can bring that wonderful Canadian thoughtfulness and kind hearts but leave any snow you find in Niagara Falls. LOL Bob & Sharon, our namesakes, keep you tornadoes confined and away from major roads. LOL If you save them, send them to OZ! The way this winter went, MILD, we are hoping for lots of sunshine! Even cooler temps feel better in the sun!

RE: Tenth Annual RV.net Class B Rally (B10)

After doing a search, I found that currently St. Ignace has about 9 inches of snow and Sault Ste. Marie about 22 inches of snow. With temps rising closer to 40's, and rain coming in, most of the snow should be gone before too long. Friends, in the UP, have told me to expect high 50's to 60's come May. The tent will be heated for comfort! If it isn't warm, bring you sleds and snow shoes. :R :R :R :R

It is very quiet on the Forum. Have you checked the updates under the B-10 Information tab at my site? Go to: http://www.military-rving.us/B-10/B-10_MI.html There you will find a tentative program; important medical information; places one may consider visiting; and the all important Snatch-O-Bingo rules. ;) All of them may be printed, if you wish. If you have any questions, PLEASE ask them on this Forum.

RE: Tenth Annual RV.net Class B Rally (B10)

Some are still asking about Campground reservations for B-10. NO, it is not necessary to make reservations. There will be more than enough spaces. Those having SPECIAL needs will be camping closer to the activity area and rest rooms. Everyone else, will have to walk 50 to 100 feet further. :R

Deb & Joe, Had you registered for the B-Rally through http://b-rally.org ? If so, then it must not had taken. Maybe try again. David Rose handles the registration page and then sends the information on to me. I have not received anything from him. I'll send him an email.
