RE: Florida in our Roadtrek Sprinter

Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center. It is a state park, a must see at Christmas time. The Bell cotillion plays Christmas songs every 15 min. One year I wrote my Christmas cards out to it. The village houses all decked out in Christmas lights. The museum is absolutely wonderful. Has his original sheet music, eight of his piano's, animated moving scenes of his songs, dresses from that era. A must see, and the campground is good. Bathrooms immaculate. Water and elec, but no sewer only dump.

RE: Warner Brothers Studio

When we took the $49 tour Angeline Jolie was filming there, but we did not get to see her. It was really worth it. Saw sets of two and a half men, also have pics of us on the set of friends, weren't allowed but we were to quick and jumped on the couch in the coffee house. Saw stages doors where TV and movies were made. Furniture sets, subway used in many shows, the house "The mentalist" use differently. We stayed at Malibu Rv Park. Now that is where the stars live. Could see Cher's home and Julia Roberts from the campground. Got a cheap old map of the stars home and thought it was bogus that they all lived near Malibu RV park, but the hosts as well as the neighbors of some of these stars confirmed it. The shopping strip mall down the street is where they all shop. Whoopie, Hanks, Hawn, Cusack, live behing the strip stores. We saw where Brad Pitt and Jolie lived, Barbra Streisand, Anthony Hopkins. We did manage to meet Brad Garrett and Keven Dillon from "Entourage". Probably would of seen more but it was hiatus time and most were away. But just seeing their homes was great. As you can see I could go on and on. I loved it, don't miss it.

RE: how to persuade wife to camp?

I love the peace and quiet of camping, sitting outside with a good book, seeing all america has to offer, but I love to go out to eat, so we basically just eat cereal for breakfast and go out to dinner. If she likes going out to eat, maybe that could persuade her.

Bodie Ghost Town

Been researching ghost towns for our trip out west. Bodie which is in Bridgeport, Ca. northeast of Yosimite seems to be very authentic. Has anyone ever been there or are there other authentic ghost towns which aren't a tourist trap?

Sedona worth the stop?

We'll be traveling 40 going home. Is Sedona worth a one or two night stay. Seems Sedona is about 30 miles off 40.

RE: DW?

Francesca
Yes. Five. The oldest gave me the name mema. We babysat all five of them at one time or another keeping them out of daycare. So hence our 5er is our get away, although about twice a year we take them. They love Anastasia State Park. Ocean and all.

RE: Open Range

have a 2010. Immediately in service for 2 months due to slide mechanism. Seals around slides crumbled . Then Leak in one of bedroom wards. Then leak under bench which we think came from window. Leak in front door. Now at 2 1/2 yrs old electric awning wouldn't retract last time out. Yes very discouraging, but I love the design of it. Just hoping nothing else major happens.
