Let me think....if I rush down and pay 580,000 for a ocean site and could rent it for 100 bucks a day that would be 36,500 a year. I must be missing something because that seems like a horrible way to invest money.
There are sites in Jensen Beach, FL on the water that rent for 1000 bucks a month from Oct thru April and 650 a month in the summer.

Jimbo, been to Jensen Beach it's nice, but it's not 14 miles from Key West, still not worth 560K unless you have money to burn. But a couple of weeks rental is great!

RE: CAT C7 Engine Experience
I'm looking around for a recent (2007+) unit and there are Cumminings engines and Cat C7 engines out there. I would like to know what experience anyone has had with their C7 engine, incase I find a unit with the CAT engine.
2007 coach may have an earlier engine as manufacturers pre-bought earlier engines to avoid the price increase. You'll have to check the serial # to know what year it has.

Stayed there many times. Don't buy a lot in the phase two area from the developer. Look for resale lots with the landscaping done. Nice resort in a nice area.

route I would take and I have driven most of it. If weather is bad when you get to ABQ, I would wait it out. Not worth heading further South. But if you do want to, head down to I10 and make your way West.

Put my Disco in for service yesterday asked the salesperson about the switch to spartan, knew nothing about it talked to SM he said all Fleetwood DP would switchg, they are going to be composite chassis with Spartan doing the ends and Fleetwood adding the powerbridge center. Cummins power.

overhead control panel
I have lost a few functions on the overhead control panel on the copilot side of the coach. Main battery connect light, all tank level indicators, and main battery voltage check are all inop. This coincides with replacement of my aux (house) batteries. Main battery disconnect switch doesn't work, and all other functions seem normal. Wondered if anyone on the forum may have had a similar experience. 2005 Discovery 39S

It was the intellitec at the front of the coach. Nothing else was on my assumption was that the chargher was the draw, so on the Generator the intellitec read a 1 amp and the red over temp light was flashing

freedom 458 problem
Went to the coach today, batteries low on charge, plugged it in and it showed drawing 11 amps sat for awhile tried starting engine, no go. Started the genny and the draw dropped to 1 amp. Shut down genny stayed at 1 amp. Checked the inverter the red light over temp was blinking, unplugged everything and waited red light keeps blinking, Ideas?
