windshield privacy
We travel with four cats and a Lab. When we are stopped the cats have beds on the dashboard, so they can see all the things going on. This does not allow us to use the curtain. We have tried using a number of things, the interior shade from RV Toy Store; self cling designed material. However, nothing seems to work in both the day light and night to give some privacy. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks Bill
RE: Traveling I-75 MI to FL
Happy New Year,
Thanks to all for the great information. We arrived at WDW, 1/2, today safe and sound. We came down I-75 with very few weather problems, some fog and rain. I think the road is in better shape then I-95.We stayed at the Corbin and Tifton KOA's. thanks bill
Traveling I-75 MI to FL
Merry Christmas!
We have a 2007 Itasca Suncruiser, 38T. Our toad is a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
We are going from MI to Disney’s Fort Wilderness. Normally we take I-75 to I-40 East to I-26 South, because we stop in Ashville, NC, then I-95 to I-4. This year we are not stopping in Ashville, so will be taking I-75 all the way. We have looked at the I-75 Exit Guide on line and have the 2009 Exit Now.
We have some questions about I-75 below Knoxville:
1) We like Flying J because of the RV island for gas. We have looked at the locator and noticed only a few. The question is, are any of the Pilots, or other truck stops, set up like the Flying J, along the route?
2) We have looked up the KOA along I-75 and have a list. Does anyone have any thoughts about them. In addition, is anyone aware of other campgrounds that are nice along the way?
3) Map Quest gives me the option of taking the FL turnpike or SR 44 to US 27. I have taken the turnpike before but it was prior to the motor home. The question is, which one is better? Are SR 44 and US 27 motor home friendly?
Thank you
Bill
