RE: Oil Filter for Vortec engine

The PF 454 is used by GM in pickup applications, on the MH, bigger is better, more filter media. I use a 1 Qt., but many use the 2 Qt..

RE: CRV Honda

Have any of you with excessive wear had an alignment done? Since my first set wore and I had an alignment done, second set has about 20K driven and 20K towed, no signs of abnormal wear --- Switched to Michelin's, the Bridgestones were too noisy.

RE: 2003 W22 Workhorse Brake Failure

As posted at the other site you posted on your failure,
See page 70 of the 2006 Workhorse Chassis Guide --
I'd also try Redlands Truck Service for a second opinion.

RE: Which Workhorse Chassis 07 Sightseer

PM me or post the last 6 digits of your VIN and I can look it up.
Winnebago usually has a plate near the drivers seat or door with the GVWR rating on it. Also, mid year W24's lost the yellow knob and had a park pawl in the tranny and a foot brake for the parking brake.
Brake recall ---- hold your breath, Spring ??????

RE: 2010 workhorse chasis

Make sure the dealer puts in the paper work so you show up as the owner.
You should be notified of the brake recall when parts become available.
Change the Allison filter at 5K miles, saving the magnet located on top of the filter -- looks like a washer.
I saw the 33C at the Hershey show, nice unit --- Good Luck

RE: Brake Failure on W-22 Workhorse Chassis

Bosch has not yet released a certified replacement caliper. Right now there is no actual recall, that will happen when Bosch decides to get the calipers certified and into production. Right now all you can get is the same calipers you have.
This subject is covered at iRV2.com and at RV Forum.net
Latest info is the pistons are swelling cone shaped, fatter toward the pad. If new pads are installed on the original caliper the piston is more apt to bind since the piston is pushed back into the bore more.

RE: 2005 Winnebago Voyage

The Voyage is a good product, but which chassis? Ford or Workhorse? Workhorse has a pending brake caliper recall --- and campaign 60601-C needs to be done, if it hasn't.

RE: Wrangler Marker and Center/Third Brake Light Not Working

Bear in mind, the more lights you run could overload the factory wiring harness. Adding the front markers will draw more, the third brake light will add a little. If you have an Aux braking system that is properly adjusted, your third brake light should operate when the Jeep brakes activate.

RE: inside lights get bright and then go back to normal

What is the time cycle of the brightness? If it is about 15 minutes every 20 or so hours it could be you have a "smart" 3 stage converter as long as you mean the 12V lights.
A 3 stage converter will go to about 13.2V to maintain battery. It will go to 14.4 to de sulfate the battery or rapid charge if the battery needs charging. It will also charge at 13.8 when a low to medium charge is needed.

RE: p30 front brake caliper problems

The calipers on the P30 series need the slide pins cleaned and lubed routinely. A periodic brake fluid flush wouldn't hurt either. But they are not the same calipers used on the W20 thru W22 WH Chassis.
