Had the same problem with my 1985 Barth. One of the front tires had "slipped" a belt, replaced with new tires = problem solved.

I have a trip to D.C. planned for October of this year and we are staying at Cherry Hill Park located in College Park Maryland. Have heard only good reports about this campground and looking forward to trip.

Due to conditions beyond my control I have had to cancel my reservation. No one is sick or hurt but the Barth is having some problems and I don't feel safe traveling alone with problems. Have fun and wish I was there.

Reminds me of a shortie school bus that we had about 25 years ago. Can't tell you how much fun we had in that thing, could take it anywhere and not worry about scratches etc.

I have used WD-40 a black leather backpack with excellant results. Sprayed on, rubbed in with fingertips then wiped off with paper towels, had to do several times.

My low tech answer is a metal umbrella stand. It has a set screw that tightens to the fiberglass telescoping pole that I ordered from Poles and Holders.

I am patiently waiting the arrival of the Daniels clan, I know they have a long way to go and I want them to drive safe. Don't know what time they to expect them but will certainly enjoy visiting with them.
