RE: 4th of July week at MB SC

I drove thru one of the big cg's in MB (Pirate Land or Ocean Lakes)not sure which?? It seemed way over-crowded to me,people everywhere and the site seemed small and on top of the guy next to you.I've never stayed so maybe it's ok just looked like an over-crowded cg.
And we who go to these cg's love it.

RE: sewer clean out at new house

I have carried it from the TT into the house in 5 galon buckets before. It ends up in the same place and those buckets with the slotted open rings on top can get really messy when dumping into a commode.

RE: Another when to visit question, this one is for Tennessee

I can't take the cold like I could as a kid. I always prefer the warmer (suppossed to be) times of the year. I love to sweat. It means I am warm or even hot.

RE: Thanksgiving camping...where you going?

Had to curb my camping earlier this year cause I didn't have a job after being laid off last Sept. NOW I have a job, but no vacation time to take off other than for weekends. Can't win I guess ..

RE: Background checks...... Fingerprints?

The company I work for pays for pre-employment physicals and drug testing.
The only time that we charge the employee is if they were to quit in a short period of time after hiring. Then they are charged for all tests and for administration paperwork.
As far as fingerprinting, I have noticed it mostly in government, whether state or federal, positions. This should be at the expense of the employer or agency doing the hiring. If you don't want to be printed, then you just forfeit hiring for that employer.

RE: asheville in december

Rock slide will not bother folks in NC /SC going to Asheville. It is at MM3 in NC. From Tenn area you just go I-81 to I-26 and come south to Asheville..Any snow in December in Asheville is usually a quick fall/melt event.

RE: Where to pad when installing covers.

Remove the drip spouts that you add to gutters to stop black streaks.

RE: Faucets - do you leave open or closed?

I did sort of the same as ChuckandGail....someone left the bathroom sink faucet turned on and when I hooked to city water, I hear a noise that turned out to be water overflowing the bathroom sink. Of course, I had the drain plugged.

RE: tom johnson camping center concord nc

It is basically the main parking lot just across the street from the main gate of the speedway. New bathhouse has been rebuilt I believe.
BUT...very expensive to stay there during race weeks. It is called Fleetwood RV but you can also get info on the speedway website below.

RE: An Apology . . .

Some live to complain. I laugh to live and I loved it. I didn't catch it here till it was gone, but I have received it many times from friends. No need to apologize to me.
