RE: exterior refrigerator fan

I actually have no wiring knowledge and was going to show my son your answers, but I think I will try the LP. It sounds like the easiest.
Thanks for all of your responses.

exterior refrigerator fan

Last year when I camped in 100+ weather, my refrigerator really had a hard time keeping the temp below 40degrees. I had a little fan in the frig but it wasn't enough. I was told to put a fan outside in the refrigerator area so it would vent to the roof. I was told to get a computer fan and rig it up. Any other suggestions?

RE: 2006 Jayco 23B wheel help

My 2008 23B has 185/80 r13 tires. So, if they fit, I should replace them with 14 inch?

RE: Reflectix gizmos?

I bought space blankets from Cabelas and sewed two together for each end of my popup. I use these also for the hybrid. I have also put 2 sheets of reflectix that have been taped together under the blankets (on the outside) during 100 degree weather.
Also, I put reflectix panels inside the bed area and just tuck them next to mattress and tent side. I put a piece of reflectix on the door window. Reflectix is great. The blankets have a silver side to reflect sun and olive for winter.

RE: Panasonic Microwave in a Jayco 23XBE trouble.

I can't run air conditioning very long with the microwave. Turn off the air..use fan only with microwave and everything runs ok.

RE: Black Tank always 2/3 full?

I read an article about cleaning the black tank and it said you are never supposed to flush with the fan on because this is pulling air out of the toilet. I think we have usually had the fan on. Do you agree? Also, Chuck, what is the bacteria treatment you mentioned?

RE: Who's Camping in North Texas?

Well, I ended up going to Daingerfield State Park in east Texas. I had a premium site which is a pull through with sewer and overlooks the lake. The pine trees were beautiful and the breezes were great. It is really a family place. Has a great swimming beach. The rangers also were very accommodating. I spent 3 nites and am looking forward to going back. Almost all the sites have sewer and cost less than the lakes closer to Dallas.

RE: Who's Camping in North Texas?

Thank you both of you. I camped years ago at Texoma and remember putting up a tarp to break the wind. This Lawton park looks pretty.
Thanks.

Who's Camping in North Texas?

We are supposed to reach the 100 mark all this week here in Dallas. Just got my 23B out of the shop. The wires to the battery had burned up and I had the wheel bearings greased. Now I can't get anyone to camp. Anyone camping in a hybrid next week? Any suggestions for a park that would have shade and a breeze?

RE: setting up a HTT

I hook up and drive my trailor and my daughter helps me back it in. I set up the outside and she does most of the inside. We have done the sewer and emptied the gray tank and had a lot of laughs over some embarassing incidences. When I get back home, I really prefer someone else backing the trailer in because by then I am tired.
