RE: Dodge cummins models and reliability

Well I have 2006 dually with the 5.9 and exhaust brake, G56 tranny (6speed) manual with 3.73 rear end. love it and engine has been a dream. no work except maintenance and had the a/c go out but other than that no engine problems. I get 22 mpg around town empty and 13 mpg loaded with my 34ft 5er, can't complain about that. Completely stock. Oh has 140,000 on it now with original clutch and still seems very strong, no slipping.

RE: To Cruise or Not To Cruise

I use my cruise control all the time, I have a 6 speed Manual tranny in a 06 Dodge Cummins and a 34 ft Everest 5er. I have no problems with it.

Robbers Cave State Park, Ok.

Has anyone stayed at the Robbers Cave State Park in Oklahoma, Just wondering if roads in RV Campground are negotiable with a 34ft 5er & 1 ton Dually? I also understand they have about 20 Rv sites with Full Hookups, and are they easy to back into or pull thru? Give me some feed back on the Park & Rv sites Please.

RE: 2013 Dodge 3500 DRW Gear Ratios

That's good news to hear about my 06 & my 6 speed stick, That would explain my great fuel mileage towing my 34ft'r I usually average 13 MPG and in good flat conditions with no head wind have gotten as much as 15 MPG. I definitely wouldn't trade it for a newer one even if they do have more power & torque, Mine does just fine. Around town I get 22 MPG empty. Its also so completely stock, no chips or anything. Thanks for the info.

RE: Towing 5th Wheel in Yellowstone NP

No problems, good road right to Fishing Bridge, in fact left fishing bridge and went on to Glacier exiting from the north exit and all roads are fine for trailers.

RE: 2013 Dodge 3500 DRW Gear Ratios

I have a 2006 with 3.73 and 6 speed stick and had a 36ft 5er and now have a 34ft 5er and have never had any problems anywhere, Mountains or flats. With the 6 speed stick I have a very low first gear if I need it.

RE: Removing a TS3 Trailer Saver from my truck bed

I remove mine a lot, just use a comealong hooked top the rafters in Garage but used to use an engine hoist.

RE: Replacing sofa bed and recliners

Well, if you are ever in Goshen or Elkhart Indiana where all the rv's are made there are lots od suppliers there to get every piece of furniture or appliance or anything for the RV there in the area. I had some work done at Morryde and while there bought a sofa and chair, everything there is made to fit into RV's. You could also order it but you would have to pay shipping.
