RE: Anyone have problems parking their class B in their Driveway

I think the Good Sam Club has an ongoing political arm that represents owners in this dispute and has been successful in the past. The last contact I heard was Sue Bray, she may have information you can use. john 'I am Canadian'

I'm looking for LED 'bulbs' to replace the 1156 etc bulbs I have now. Anyone here know a source for them? Thanks 'john I am Canadian'

RE: I'm Questioning Power/Torque of Gas vs Diesel

There's also the idea that a vehicle built here puts people here to work, they pay taxes here and buy other things here, which puts more people to work here who also pay taxes here, etc etc. Then the idea that the really big money from that purchase will be exported to the country of origin instead of being put back into the economy here to generate more revenue to provide more services here. All of which adds to the overall cost in some way. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: 1997 Horizon Class B on Dodge 3500 van frame

If it has a 'roof rack' that's probably it. If there's a 12v outlet in the coach the tv ant is usually next to it. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: 1989 GMC Coachmen Holiday class B

You're in Indiana somaybe if you can get to the rally in May, you'll get lots of help there. At least a couple of us have older rigs like that. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: overhead bunk ladder suggestions

I have one that came with my old 'C'. It's just the right height for the upstairs bedroom in a C or a B. It looks like one from CW. It collapses by unhooking a latch on one step, sort of like the latch on a card table. The 2 sides then sort of nest into each other. It makes a package 71' long and 2" square when folded. Mine resides in the side of the bed by the left upper window. When unfolded it's 60" x 12" and has hooks @ the top to hook over the bed rail. works easily and stores nicely. I can't see any brand mark. john (I am Canadian)

RE: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?

I've been living in it since the 28th of December. Since Jan. 2nd here in mid Florida. It's cool but there's no snow and I'm lovin' it. Today I vaccuumed it out, and sorted some containers and jettisoned some things. john (I am Canadian)

RE: From a big B to a small C......observations

AS Gaylord Maxwell used to say "In an Rv you are always within shouting distance, and frequently within striking distance, so liking each other is essential." john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Using a wet bath

Mine is old and has a 24" bathtub with seat. I can stand or sit. Shower curtain keeps everything dry that needs to stay dry. After use I wipe the shower area and curtain with a 'Shamwow'. Moisture that's left is gone with the exhaust fan. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: From a big B to a small C......observations

Here's a thought for those who like the B size but want more room.... Thor has a new vehicle called the Axis. It's a 25 ft class A on a Ford E 350 frame. It's reviewed in the Jan. 2014 MH magazine. I'm just saying... john 'I am Canadian'

And then there are those on dialup.... by the time I finish a search, I've forgotten the question. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?

Installed a Danby 110v fridge with a separate freezer door. I took the old (25 years) one out last week hoping that by turning it upside down for a few days it would work again but no dice. Went to WM and for 250 bucks C got a 2 door, dorm fridge. took a little cabinet work but looks ok now. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Sportsmobile

At that age expect things that seem ok to not last long. eg... fridge, roof air, water heater. See if those expensive things have been replaced or are original. This rig is over 20 yrs old, not many of those things last that long. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Where to stay?

A great way to camp safely, on the cheap is Passport America. About $45 a year and the campground costs 1/2 price. A $25 CG is $12.50. A trip like you describe is enough to pay for it and every other trip of the year is just gravy on the 'taters. www.passportamerica.com john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Any Falcon Owners Near Louisville, KY?

I have an upstairs bedroom in my Holidaire and there is a large sliding bolt type latch, like on a shed door, on each side that keeps it secure while driving. I only use it for storage though. My Coachmen had the same thing so I guess it's pretty common in those upper bunks. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Tenth Annual RV.net Class B Rally (B10)

Just a note about the cost..I see that RV Park East is listed in my PA directory as a PA member and the nightly fee is $10 for PA members. Usually this rate is for non rally days.Discount is for 1 night. The regular rate is$20. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: What does your RV forum name mean?

Mine, omjones is an oooold time handle from ham radio days and it means old man jones. I liked it and have been using it for 15 years. My signature 'I am Canadian' I adapted from a beer commercial.
