RE: Engine overheating

Excellant... way to go. My 1988 Ford Horizon does the same thing when starting out and then cools down right away. Happy it all worked out for you. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Falcon 170

PSW... FYI A number of Bs had that tub combo. I had a 1990 coachmen, a 1988 horizon, 2 different class cs, and now a okanagan b, and I know the airstreams had them also. Probably some I haven't seen. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: ROOF AIR CONDITIONER

RE: Thirteenth Annual RV.net Class B Rally (B13)

I was thinking this would be the "lucky 13 rally " but now not so much. Well we've had a great run anyway. Thanks to all the hosts and hostesses over the years and especially to Lynne who got it all started and without whom it would never have happened. luvyall john 'I am Canadian'

RE: 95 Dodge saratoga customizing and mods

Maybe you could make bunk beds over the existing ones. Some 2 bys and ply wood maybe... john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Thirteenth Annual RV.net Class B Rally (B13)

Sherry and Paul provided such a great rally in B 11, and this is a great place, I, as the sole remaining "all in" attendee say thanks and hope there will be another somewhere. These people and this place are certainly first class. A repeat,in my opinion is not a problem, kids or no kids, I'll be there. Luv yall. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Leveling block theft

If you see something left behind, just leave it there and go report it to the proper authorities. Don't remove it and then report it. That way you'll be informed if the site is still paid for, and you won't be a felon. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Thirteenth Annual RV.net Class B Rally (B13)

I believe a 'B' is built within the confines of a van. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Success on first long trip in a B

That's cool, I'm just accross the Detroit river about 25 miles east of Windsor. I'm a single but most of the b rally attendies are couples. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Success on first long trip in a B

Sounds like you had a great time. If you come to a 'B' rally you'll meet a whole bunch of couples who travel in 'B's. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Class B "sweet spot"-priced campgrounds, 2 adults

I've been using PA for about 15 years and find half price places are ideal. Secure, HUs, WiFi etc. Some are better than others, but a check in the GS book gives a bit more info. I average 12.50/night. But that's just me, my needs are small, and I'm cheap, that's how I roll. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Those of you with older Roadtreks...

If you look at the Airstream B190, GWV SSm, or the many Bs from the 90s and early 2000s, you'll see the solution is to have the bath at the rear, with the 2 bedrooms up front. This allows driver and passengers to have a conversation whie driving without shouting for 20 feet. Also most of us spend more time in the living area than in the bathroom so it just makes more sense to have the LR more accesible. Have fun in your search. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Tires B motorhome

I have Michelin LTX 2s and find them to be very stable in all conditions I have put them through. And I believe they are made in America. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Twelfth Annual RV.net Class B Rally (B12)

Those of us who were at B-3 will remember that Van City, as well as being a sponsor, also brought new rigs to the CG, and different ones each day, and also offered to make repairs to any rig right there at the cg. A great company and a very generous sponsor. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Staying clean in camp showers

I take a soda bottle filled with a 10% solution of bleach and water. Pour it over the floor and it works while I undress. It kills nasty stuff you'd otherwise be standing in. I got some nasty foot infections from wearing those flip flop things that were made in Asia, so I won't do that again. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Autos or RVs parking lot

I go in the rv section. I just figure it's because they don't want propane in the other area. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Looking for a Class B with two slides

The rigs you mentioned are not class "B"s but class "C"s so you would be better served if you posted in that forum. A class "B" is built within the perameters of a van. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Why is the Class B forum so dead?

Maybe everyone's doing what I did today... camping. On my way home from Fla I am stopped at www.twinoaksrvpark.com . Real nice place, PA park, WiFi, hot tub. HT is heaven after driving all day. john 'I am Canadian'
