RE: Fourteenth Annual RV.net Class B Rally (B14)

I would like to add my thanks and kudos to all those who worked so hard to make it the great event that it was. I can honestly say that these things just get more and more fun and entertaining as the years go by. Again thanks to all who made it work so well... luvy'all john 'I am Canadian'

Maybe go to WM and get one of those portable room AC units instead. About $200. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Class B vs. A 2.0 - Flexibility

I was stopped in my very old 'B' at a rest area and an older gent and his wife asked me if I felt out of place next to the 40 + foot million$ 'A's. I told him " No, if they get jealous of me that's their problem." 8-) john 'I am Canadian'

RE: where are the "B" people?

I believe that B's sold in Canaada to Canadiaans usually don't have gennys. I have had 4 of them and none have had one. all have had brs though. john 'I am canadian'

RE: where are the "B" people?

I'm living in mine right now in sunny south Florida. Been doing it for 3 months at a time for years. Advantages... 5 minutes cleaning time, good gas mileage, full bath with shower and tub, all appliances needed, etc etc etc. Might be a little cramped for 2 but most time is spent outside anyway. Safety of an all steel body surrounding you. I see quite a few going by on the highway and maybe that's why so little action here, people actually use their B's. If you go to the B rally in May you'll be able to see how they are used in reality. The couple who are hosts this year are fulltimers in their class 'B'. I really like mine, it's my 4th one. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: ClassB or C?

My 'B' is a 1999 \Okanagan on a Ford E 250 chasis. It's the same basic layout as many 90's 'B's including Airstream, GWV, Holidaire, Coachmen and some others. It has the high top with bed over the cab. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: ClassB or C?

I have a class b with plenty of sleeping room for 4 adults. 1 bed @ 48" x 72", the second bed is over the cab and is a queen @ 72" x 74". Sseat belts for 4, dinette, dry bath with tub, and a 34 " ccloset. Kitchen has 3B with oven, Microwave, bar sink and over 2 feet of counter space. with o'head cabinets all around. I'm now staying in it for 3 months in Florida. I'm alone now but I don't hesitate to take another couple on trips. If you go to the 'B' rally page you'll find that the couple who are this year's hosts are full timers in a 'B'. Other advantages of a 'B'... great second car, can go where others can't, stealth, mileage, park in driveway, if it's at home it will get used more often, easy to drive, easy to fix... etc etc etc. Go to a CG or dealer and ask people who own them? Rent one for a while and see. The g'kids won't care, to them it's an adventure. Good luck and have fun in your search for your dream 'B'.

RE: Roadtrek Outdoor Shower

Maybe you could cover the thing with a plastic bag and elastic bands. Cheap and easy on and off. john 'I am Canadian'

RE: Leaky Water Pipe

Maybe you might be able to wrap it with eternabond tape. It seems to be good for leaks of all kinds. john 'I am Canadian'
