RE: Outfitter Trip Report: Northwest Passage Second Curtain

Camaro? What Camaro? Oh darn I was hoping you wouldn't know about it. The only straight stretch on this island is the 7-foot guy who lives in the woods on Camano Ridge. He doesn't come out very much. We call him Stretch, because he's so tall. But I guess you knew that. But the car is geared such that you don't need much of a stretch to reach top end, you just get there in a hurry.

RE: Outfitter Trip Report: Northwest Passage Second Curtain

The Camano Island Chamber of Commerce called and they want to send you a check because since you posted your travel log, TC tourists have flocked to the island.
Before you get your hopes up, the Check doesn't speak English, but knows Russian pretty good.

RE: Lippert frame "weld" problems

I'm trying to figure out who made the frames in my 2006 34-foot JAYCO Designer. Anyone know?

RE: Driving trough California?

Wittmeba: I dodge the Grapevine and go through Barstow then down 247 through Yucca Valley. I have this thing about driving anywhere near L.A. I'm just a county boy I guess.

RE: Dually owners, need your opinions

If noise is a factor, you can hear Dodges quite a ways off and a Ford not so bad. I found the Durimax to be quietest.

What spare parts do I take to Alaska

I have been in Alaska before but not in 5W. I know how the prices are up there. What should I carry with me hauling a Jayco 34 footer up there next June? Yup got the extra water pump. Anyone got a punch list?

RE: Aux Tank with external Pump???

Why not increase the size of your existing truck's tank. I changed mine out and have a 65 gallon tank. I am sure you can find fuel between 600 to 700 miles.

RE: Recommendations for 5W Garage Size

I have a 42x30 and I wish I had put the joists perpendicular to the door. It would have given me a lot more ceiling room inside.
