RE: Water pressure problem

Well, I found out what my problem was. After the dealer that I purchased from and camping world would not even talk me me about troubleshooting I called the manufacturer and much to my surprise the tech guy walked me through my problem (which happened to be a rookie mistake). Long story short I had forgotten to close the intake valve coming from the FW tank causing my pump to steadily suck air. After closing that valve I was able to suck up the anti-freeze as advertised. I can not thank the Trail-Cruiser/Monaco RV customer service enough. Thanks again for the replies

RE: Water pressure problem

Thanks for all the ideas guys. I will not be able to work on it again until Friday. My underbelly is covered so, I'll have to remove all of the covering before starting the troubleshooting process again. I'll let you guys know what I find. It will kill me if I have to take it to the dealer. Thanks Again

Water pressure problem

I posted another thread yesterday regarding my water pump and here is what I have found. My water pump runs continuosly like there is a valve open. It will not even pull water out of the tank. I have changed the pump out with a new one. I have tried priming the pump by putting water in the FW tank and it will not build up pressure. It has the correct voltage on the pump. I have ran out of ideas at this point. Is there a way to pressurize the system and find out where my leak/problem is? I don't have an air compressor so I think I am going to have to take it to someone at this point. I wanted to check with you guys before I give in and take it to CW or back to the dealer wherre I bought (which I can't stand by the way. It is not under warrenty any more so, either I fix it or pay someone to fix it. The odd thing is that we camped in it last weekend and did not have any problems. Tokk it back to storage went to winterize it ytesterday and now it has no pressure what so ever. Thanks in Advance

RE: Water Pump ?

Thanks for all of the replies guys. I'm not sure what's going on I have never had this problem before. I think that I have some sort of leak somewhere and will try and find it by adding water the the FW tank tomorrow. Thanks Again

RE: Water Pump ?

I did buy the same pump. I am winterizing so I don't want water in the tank. It won't even suck the antifreez out of the jug. I think I am going to put water in it tomorrow and see if I have a leak somewhere. I just used it last weekend and erverything was fine.

Water Pump ?

Hello all, I went to winterize my HTT today and when I turned my water pump on it just kept running and not as loud as normal. I made sure that all of my valves were closed went and turned it on again and it still kept running continuosly. So, I figure that the pump is bad so off to CW I went. I bought a new pump get back install it and it is still doing the same exact thing as the old one. Does anyone have any clue what the problem could be? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance Randy

RE: Stablizing the camper and more

We had the same problem until we bought the X-Chock locking tire chocks. Just got back yesterday from the first trip with them and can not believe the difference they made. I would recommend them to anyone.

RE: Bunk End Latch ?

No none knows where to find this piece of rubber? All these hybrids and no one has ever had to change it out? I even called the dealer that I pruchased my HTT from and they acted like they had no clue what I was talking about they wanted me to take a picture of it and send it to them.

Bunk End Latch ?

I have been trying to find where to buy the peice of heavy duty foam that goes in between the handle and the latch to prevent the metal on metal rubbing. It has sticky on one side to keep it stuck to the handle. Any idea where I can purchase some of this? I have tried HD and Lowes and neither one have anything that heavy duty/dense. Thanks in Advance

RE: X-Chock Tire Locking Chock

Thanks again everyone for your input. After reading this I will be purchasing two for my HTT. Is CW the best place to buy them? Or do you guys know of a less expensive place? Thanks Again

Black Tank Chemical

I have been using the Thetford Supreme Green chemical in my black tank along with rv TP. I have one of the clear valves that has a hose connection on so you can back rinse the tank. I have noticed that the chemincal does not totally dislove the TP. Should it? I don't have any smell issues just wondering if there is a chemical that will disolve completely. Thanks in Advance
