Black Friday has a lot of limited number available "Loss Leads". Not a bait and switch because they really had the items advertised, but they know you're in the market for an item like that and they make sure they have more higher priced ones available. Sears did that with DVD players a couple years ago. They had one brand on sale for way dirt cheap and a Sony one right next to it, on sale but not at a loss. They sold all of the Black Friday ones and the Sony ones. Don't think they would've sold out the Sony ones with out the loss lead item.
I always say I'm gonna readjust how much they take out so I either get a very small refund or pay a little at tax time. Never do though. Kinda hard to predict too because we usually take a loss at the end of the year on the rental house.
