RE: Leaving rig in the US - Insurance?
It is a fifth wheel and will be on a lot in a park in Florida. They were planning on leaving it on the lot year round. Any question at customs when you head down with a trailer in tow and come back no trailer?
Leaving rig in the US - Insurance?
Friends from Canada are planning on leaving their rig on a lot in Florida year round starting next year. They called their insurance company to inquire about insurance and were told that the insurance company would not insure the rig if it was left in the US. Lots of people do this so they are looking for information. Thanks

RE: Traveller's Rest RV Resort Florida
We just got here yesterday. It is a great park if you like to golf. Lots and lots of things to do. Our friends really like it. We are just in an open field but the rest of the park is nicely landscaped. We would consider spending some time here on our way down further south next year. Sorry we will miss you.
COE Parks - Locked Gates
I have read on several COE campground sites that the gates of the campground are locked at night. What happens if there is a medical emergency? There might not be time to get help from a host camper to open the gates. Any experiences or work campers advice?
RE: Dogs at Niagara Falls, NY
We have been to Niagara Falls with our dog. We visited all the areas no problem. May should be a little quieter than the summer season. The crowds in the summer might be an issue for the dog.

You mentioned fibromyalgia. The chronic pain can sometimes be overwhelming and depressing but it rarely is visible to others. Imagine the worst ache all over flu you have ever had and then imagine having it every day. Believe me I know. If he is on meds - I take Lyrica - a side effect is depression. Luckily it has been a miracle for me. This is a condition that many people don't understand. I would strongly suggest you encourage him to see a doctor to evaluate what might be going on. I have difficulty with long drives and perhaps the trip down is taking a toll as well.

I googled the directions to this park going north on 431 and it said to go past the entrance and make a U turn at 165. Is this right? How difficult is it to make a U turn with truck and 34 foot 5 er? Is there another route? Is the park worth it?
RE: Seat Belts
WE have 2 dogs and use a seatbelt harness for both. You might want to look at the seatcover that slings over the front seat and back seat head rests. It is like a hammock and prevents the dog from slipping off the seat and onto the floor.
RE: Vacuums
Dirt Devil Bagless under $50. Portable and folds to go in under storage or the closet. We have 2 dogs and I swear everytime I use it I could build a new dog, which is at least every other day. We had a built in and removed it.
