RE: Camping World Service in Tampa, FL

John, I was not assigned to take this case, as I said in my first response I was asked to oversee the expansion project and dealership. When there is a problem at any of the dealerships I oversee, I want to be involved in helping to resolve issues where needed and possible. I would prefer to take this offline in resolving any issues. I do run the stores in Colorado, New Mexico and Texas. Tampa is a little out of my region, but sure is a great store and area. Please call me at 970 691 4205. This is my cell. Sincerely, Rod Andersen

RE: Camping World Service in Tampa, FL

Dear John, I am sorry to hear about the issues that you have had. I was assigned to oversee this dealership a couple of months ago. There are always growing pains when we take over an existing dealership. As you can see we are in an expansion mode that will allow us to better take care of the volume of customers we have. I would love to research the delay in getting your unit fixed. It sounds like there was quite a punch list. Typically parts do come from the manufacturer in a timely manner. I do know however, that this would not be the first time an item(s)could have been on back order. I also can tell you that it would not be the first time that a manufacturer told a customer that parts were not on order and if fact they were. Typically the maufacturer will extend warranty because of an internal issue from the factory, not the dealer. Please let me do some research and I would like to call you and see what we can do to resolve any outstanding issue. Thanks to those who did respond positively on this forum. Please keep in mind the amount of transactions and the hundreds of thousands of happy customers that Camping World has. This forum gives us just one way to respond and try to help those who have had less than great experiences. We are a different company than most. We allow our customers to go right to the CEO if they want or feel a need to. We would perfer that the store GM's handle every problem. Some times the customer want's to hop over management. That is okay. Typically, it then comes back to regional or store management to take care of. I have never had Marcus not respond to a customer. This would be a first for me. He is the most concerned CEO I have ever seen. Both for the customer and his employees. He wants this organization to be the best! He wants every customer satisfied. I currently watch over ten stores and hope I can be of help. Please email your contact number and or email address so we can discuss. Sincerely, Rod Andersen

RE: Camping World NEVER again (denver)

It is our goal to make sure we have happy customers. The New Denver location had some opening issues last summer and in no way ay is perfect, but I do get many more positive comments than negative. Which is very rare in today's business climate. Thanks, Rod Andersen RVP Colorado, New Mexico,Texas and Tampa Florida Camping World RV Sales

RE: Will Camping World ship a trailer found at another store?

There is always cost in shipping. If it is across the country, it doesn't always make sense. Remember a used trailer always will have some defects.
