RE: problem with Cradlepoint MBR1000 with 4 g

thanks for the replies.I found that I needed to update my router to the latest firmware. Cradlepoint's web site had great instructions and I followed along and got it to work. here is the link to the knowledge base http://knowledgebase.cradlepoint.com/articles/support/Manually-upgrade-Series-2-CradlePoint-firmware?c=All_Products I somewhat fear computer technology but but with the article they provided I managed to get through another one thanks again rich

problem with Cradlepoint MBR1000 with 4 g

I have not been able to get a new 4g router to work with the Cradlepoint. The 3g modem I had worked OK before today . The new modem is a Novatel 4g MC551. it works when plugged into the usb on pc ( Mac Book ) but I get a bounce statement when I try connecting with the Cradlepoint. I have a Verizon plan. Any suggestions what to do . I will call cradlepoint on Moday. The MC551 was an approved modem for the MBR1000 by cradlepoint. thanks for any help. rich

RE: Tell me about Sebring FL

I stayed in Sebring for a winter at Tanglewood RV resort. I can't answer all your questions but there is a lot of places to bike. Around lake Jackson is what we did.I think you can kyak on Lake Jackson as well and there is a public boat launch. The town of Sebring is small but there were activities with the 12 hr race which I enjoyed. I did not feel that traffic was that bad. Lots of places to eat etc. Most of the people are friendly but most in the winter are from the North.
