RE: Will my 2010 F150 tow it?

IMO you could do this regularly but others may disagree but one time will not be an issue at all Yea, it is only going to be a one time trip. It seems that the newer 1/2 ton trucks are rated to tow what the older 3/4 ton's were and the new 3/4 tons are like the old 1 ton's.

RE: Will my 2010 F150 tow it?

I'd do it once, but it does not seem worth setting up the WDH for one tow to new owner. Do you have a brake controller still too? Hi, I really was hoping to not have to mess with the WD setup and since I have the Max Tow package on the F150 is has a built in brake controller. I'm kinda curious to see how it works.

Will my 2010 F150 tow it?

Hello all, My wife and I recently bought a second home and have found ourselves not using our camper much at all over the past two years. I sold my Excursion tow vehicle and have now sold the camper too. The issue is that now I find myself having to tow the camper about 200 miles to the new owner using my 2010 F150. Here are the stats. Camper = 7,400lbs dry, 9,500lbs GVWR. F150 = 2010 with Max tow package, GVWR = 7,675lbs. The F150 is rated to tow 10k lbs+ so I think I'm ok but I'm old school where I think you need a 3/4 ton to tow anything. Any advise?
