Wiring Adapter

My wiring cable that connects to my toad fell off while on the road. The plug into the motorhome was all that was left. I purchased
a new cable and a adapter and wired it to the adapter(7pole) that I had left. That was easy but on the other end the adapter it has no connection for the black wire. It has 5 holes with 1 in the middle.

Good Sam Ins.

We have GMAC Insurance and have been happy for the most part. The thing that I have a problem with is we can't make a payment online. I have been told that because we are in California we cannot make a payment online . The explanation I get is that they do not have that setup yet? So everytime I call in to make a payment I'm told "sir you know you can make your payment online". Then I have to tell them that I can't make a payment online because we live in California and they say that I can but when they try to help with that it never works . They always say that they will have that problem corrected but after 2 years they have not corrected anything. If it wasn't for the rates I would have left a long time ago.

Surge Protector

I'm wanting to know if you own a Progressive Industries SSP50 Smart Surge Protector and you wish you would have purchased the TRC 34750 Surge Guard 50-Amp Portable or the more expensive one?

Surge Protectors

This question is for the gate guards who plug into these Industrial generators supplied by the employer. Do you have a surge protector and do you feel it is needed for these type of generators. I have read about one Rver who had his AC fried with these but not really sure about the facts.

RE: 2012 Ford Focus

I was not aware that the Focus was one if the "problem" vehicles. Automatic or manual transmission? Can you post a link to problems with the new-generation Focus.

2012 Ford Focus

I just purchased a Ford Focus Hatchback after reading Motorhome Magazine that you could tow it 4 wheels down. The salesman at the dealership said that it was ok to tow this Focus. I am now worried about this as I read of the problems Focus owners are having. I would like to hear from any 2012 Focus owners that are using these for dinghys. I am going down to Ford dealership to discuss this with the manager.

RE: Transfer switch

I finally located the transfer switch which is ITS-50R and found out they are no longer being made. In talking to energy bay they have a Power Max 50 amp Transfer switch which is idenical to the ITS-50R. Has anyone had any experience with this transfer switch?

Transfer switch

Called Damon* to find out where transfer switch was located and one guy said it was under the bed. Well it wasn't there so called back and I was told it was where the power cord plugs in , no its not there. I kinda figured out they don't know where the transfer switch really is. So if you own a 2006 Damon Astoria model 3679 please let me know if u know where its located. Thanks ahead of time
*actually called Thor as Damon is now built by Thor I believe.
