RE: Landing gear motor/gearbox removal
The only thing that held me up was the fact that the undercarriage is covered, and the gearbox/legs are accessible through a small access panel.

I have had to replace the gearbox on my Thor, I contacted Venture and they sent me all documentation for the gearbox and for the legs themselves. Including all diagrams and instructions. I still have them if you want to shoot me a message I can email them to you.
The new gearbox costs around $50.
I actually ended up replacing all gears and its hardware as well as the gearbox itself. The original gearbox was plastic and snapped off the locating lugs of the gearbox. Very poor design, and they know it, the new gearbox is constructed out of aluminum.

As an aside, does anybody else see the irony that all of the 4 drivers have a connection to Joe Gibbs? Either in having driven and/or drive for him.......

Logano for some reason is starting to think that he has some mighty big britches, and eventually someone is going to turn him upside down for a squeeking long ride down Talladega's back stretch.....
Also I am already tired of the whole Manica talk, enough already this woman cannot race, one only has to look at what happened with her former ride in Indy car to see, Hinchcliff who replaced her won this past weekend........She has the reflexes of a drunk 14 year old!

Scraped the A/C cover in Rapid City, the tow truck driver was leading us to the RV repair shop as the suspension had collapsed coming into RC, never seen the sign announcing the height. Went under real slow and it did scrape the top of the cover slightly.

Photoshop is closing? Or one of the picture posting sites like Photobucket? Adobe seems to be doing just fine and there is no mention of it closing its doors.
this is the email I received from photoshop, which means all photoshop links to photos here will be gone and so will the pictures

Is that a Photoshop online web sharing site you belong to? If so it looks like they are just shutting down their web hosting site.
I could be wrong here but I do not think that Photoshop is closing its door, it is one of the most popular photo suite software around!

We don't have one but a buddy just bought a 2012.
He speaks very highly of it. As a matter of fact he is on a couple of months hiatus with it down south (Mexico, and Arizona), they have had a few issues with it, the landing gear and rear stabilizers gave him problems, he ended up taking them apart and massaging the screws and as far as I know there are no longer any problems. He changed out the water pump as he felt the one that came in the trailer was not giving enough pressure for the shower.
He slept in it in Southern Montana while it was -27 c (not sure what that is in F) everything was frozen solid, went through two bottles of propane.
All of the problems he has had have nothing to do with Open Range's quality of construction, it has been with the ancillary components.

That is Lake Minnewanka, just outside Banff, we had stayed in Banff last Fall and it had snowed the night before and this is what we were greeted with.
