RE: Aero Cub 214
We own a 2006, regular tent ends, we enjoy it quite a bit, we bought it cause of the floor plan, we to like the u dinette. We have had our DD, & husband,GK's(3)and a coulpe of their friends stay with us. we were quite comfortable.
Help?
We are looking to upgrade to a 5th wheel from a 21' hybrid, found a floor plan the DW likes, and we can afford, My question for you all is right now we have 2400 iS yamaha and it runs our A/C (13500)ok along with refrig. and supplies enough pwr to run phone chargers, tv/sattlite ect. The Keystone Outback we are looking at has a 15000 A/C unit. Will the generator handle this or will I need to upgrade this also. Your replies will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Yes I have the TV.Ford 250SD
RE: How bad did I hurt my water pump??
Added some water to the F/W tank and turned the pump on and it worked just like it should. Thanks for all the replys, probally reduced the life of the pump somewhat, but it still keep me camping for a few more weeks. Next year we will trade in the pump for a new one, (New TT)that is.
How bad did I hurt my water pump??
We just returned from Colorado, after draining the F/W tank, unloaded and locked up until the next trip(this was Monday). Today I was looking for a notepad I thought I left in the HTT, when I opened up the camp trailer, I heard a humming sound, This is a new sound I thought, I realized it was the water pump making that sound, I turned the pump off, but I won't get to check it out until this weekend. Or should I just bite the bullet and go buy a new one?
RE: ReJetting a Yamaha 2400IS Gen
KrazyMatt, please let me know when you get it done, I'm interested too on how difficult it my be. I have one and we are always in the San Juan mountains, Mancos, Durango, Telluride, Pagosa, and Chama areas. Yami runs really rich.
RE: WD really needed for my truck?
Save your pinion seal and wheel seals, less wear and tear, shift some of your weight forward. I have a 3/4 ton F-250, don't really need a WD sys. but I do use one, HTT is only 5000 lbs, and the WD makes a diff.
RE: Platoro Colorado-Dry Camping Areas Along FR 250?

RE: Yamaha 2400 suddenly won't run my 13.5 AC
I had the exact same probelem this past weekend.:h We were at 8600 feet, in elevation. My DW was running the A/C late in the afternoon, all was good, HTT cooled down, shut off A/C and I tried to restart after a few minutes later, (to show off the Yamaha), gen set went into overload, had to restart. W/H was on propane, refridge on auto, so that was on, GK's charging their games. Restarted, all ok, A/C had built up to much head pressure in the comp.,:S let it sit for a bit, all is good. Learing curve here, dont try to restart a/c just after you stopped it, let it sit, Yamaha gen set will do its job.:B
RE: A/C-Generator Operations
We just returned from Mancos St. Park, elevation 7800 ft., we live at an elevation of 5800 ft., we have a Yamaha EF2400iS, we ran the A/C Saturday afternoon for approx. hour and a half, fridge was on auto, so that was on to. Water heater was on propane, it did not factor in. The gk's were also charging their video games. We had no problem. The one problem I did have was when I tried to restart the A/C after the DW had shut it down, I tried to restart it shortly after words,(showing off the Yamaha), A/C would not restart,Sent genny into overload. I let the A/C rest a hour or so,turned A/C on again, A/C worked great. Only I could figure is to much head pressure in A/C comp, but that's another topic, just my 2 cents. Thanks for letting me share.
