The Flying J at exit 137 has RV overnite parking. This is about 10 miles east of Goodyear

RE: Colter Bay, WY

We were there this past June. As it was early in the season, just a few loops open. In the loops that were open were several sites that would take any size rig. The sites are on both sides of the road. I guess you would call then "pull thru" Depending on which side of the road you are on will dictate whether your door opens on the street or the wooded area.
Are you saying that in June not all loops are open. The reason is snow or not enough demand for them to open them. I plan on being there around 6-23/24.
hpk
It was early June when we were there. It did snow. Also the demand was low. We were there for 2 weeks. As time went on, more loops were opened.

RE: Niagra Falls info

I had to show my passport to reenter from Alberta this pass spring.
IMO, If I could not go to the Canadian side of the falls, I would not go. There is just so much more to see and do in Canada.

RE: Overnight parking off I-10/Indio area?

It may be a little farther west of Indio than you want, Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa is located just off I-10 in Cabazon, CA
From the east, exit at the Cabazon (Main Street) exit. Turn right (north) at the exit. Turn left (west) on Seminole Drive.

RE: Need help with my dog- barks while on the leash.

Some might think a shock collar cruel, but it cured our dog of barking in less than a week.

RE: Best toads

For a light, inexpensive, easy to tow and a lot of versatility, I would suggest a 4x4 Tracker.

RE: chains

I copied this from Cal Trans. It may or not apply in other states.
"Do I have to put on chains when I am towing a trailer?
Yes, always.
Even if I have 4-wheel drive?
Yes.
Do I have to put chains on the trailer?
You must have at least one axle chained if the trailer is equipped with brakes."

RE: Space heaters.

I bought 4 of these 750/1500 watt heaters from Walmart several years ago. The cost for the 4 was $60. I have started on my 4th winter winter with them. I only use one or two. Saving the others.

It's not on the lake, but north of town just north of the airport on the right(east)is a large BLM camping area.

RE: Quartzsite-Anyone getting local wifi service in an LTVA?

If you are just wanting FREE wifi, why not just go to the library. They have about a dozen computers inside for free. You can ask and get a wifi code and use your own computer. If you want, they do accept donations.

RE: Touring the Smoky Mountains

The above mention things to do are great. I would also add the Roaring Fork Nature Trail. The only downside is that you have to start in Gatlinburg.
Also, you might like to hike up to Laurel Falls.. Then continue the drive along the Little River road. Along the way is the "Sinks" and Meigs Falls.

RE: Open dump valve

That is the way I do it with one exception. The day before I plan on dumping my black tank, I close the grey. I then will dump the back and use the water in the grey to flush out the hose.
