OK after looking up a photo of your class C. You have same mirrors I have.
You can adjust the swing out on the arm by loosening the screw close to the cab. Maybe swinging it in a little will help. Than you have to readjust the mirror head the same way. My mirrors are straight out to the side. These mirrors do not stick out that far from the body of the MH.
You only see the MH when making a turn. Leave your back up camera on if you want to see your MH driving down the road. If your hitting things on the edge of the road. You need to get closer to the center. First time MH driver. Learning curve.
Had 2 Jensen TV's in this MH. Cost more than they are worth.
Go to WalMart or any place you want. By the TV that fits your pocket book. And gives you the features and picture you like.
I replaced with Visieo brand.
Loved my Chevy Votec 8.1 that Workhorse used. Had a Allison 1000 trans. Which was also great. Had no issues with the engine or trans.
The Workhorse chassis with brake problems were the W-20 and 22 chassis with the Bosch brake system. We had a 2001 W-20 chassis.
Have the 2 valve Ford V-10 in our class C. Also a good set up.
Well leaving the cruise on in the Smokies or any other hilly country is not recommended.
I live in these TN. Hills. I have set the cruise when going down some hills. Which will maintained speed going down.
You will get better mpg without it. Save it for the Flat Lands.
You do not mention what chassis you have. I am guessing it is on a Ford chassis. If so turn on the Yiw Haul feature when going down the hills. Tapping the brake than will cause trans. To down shift also.
Your MPG is about right. Depending on your speed, wind and terrain.
