RE: Needed: A New Kind of Campground (Chuck Woodbury)

Present CG,s could set aside Boondocking sites for overnight parking. Escapees parks do this.

RE: Which is safer, truck / trailer or motorhome?

Motorhome built on school bus platform would be best,,if there exists such thing.. School buses are one of the safest designs http://www.palmettobussales.com/microbird2.cfm School buses are made with a steel skin. Not Faber glass like a MH.

RE: Which is safer, truck / trailer or motorhome?

I felt just as safe when we had a TT or our PU. Realy less safe in our Class A,s. As you were right up front. Close to the windshield. In our C as we were in our tie vehicle. You sit back away from it.

RE: Question about being guided into a site.

Never trust a CG parker. Sorry but you new it was there and lost site of it. I feel the CG Parker was negligent also.

RE: DC switch for wall sconce

I replaced our bed room wall lamps with lamps I bought from CW. You should be able to replace the switches. Take one out. Check your local home supply store or electrical supply store.

RE: What would you do if you won $1.5 Billion ?

Pay off the money pit sitting in my garage. RV. Than get rid of it,never to buy another one. Help out my kids. Set up collage funds for GKids. Really only need part of the pot. Willing to have more than one winner.

RE: Heat Strip In A/C

I had Heat Strips on one MH. Do not work as good as a Heat Pump. Neither one is as good as a gas furnace. I would buy a good electric heater before wasting money on Heat Strips

RE: RoadMaster Sterling tow hitch arms stuck?

RoadMaster also suggested leaving the Plastic chaps off. Spray Silicon into the bar. When I take it apart. I run a rag into the tube to clean out all the grit and dirt.

RE: Nashville - Where to stay

Your not going to see much in 2 days. Just touring the Opry Land Hotel will pretty much shoot one day. Than Grand Ole Opry at night. Country Music Hall of Fame. There goes another day. Music Row. The list goes on and on. The River Boat

RE: Nashville - Where to stay

Depends on how much $$ you want to spend. The 3 on Music Valley Drive have gotten over priced. They are close to Opry Land Hotel, Grand Ole Opry and Opry Mall. Have stayed at Nashville Country just north of Nashville. Not sure on there $$ now that they are also a KOA.

RE: Thinking about down sizing and would like your comments...

We went from a 35' Winnebago Adventurer class A to a 29' Winnebago Aspect. I like not having the Rug Ray room over head. Tom or Bonny: I know about the 'bed space' over the cab but what's a "Rug Ray over head"?:B Typo: Suppose to be Rug Rat Room. (kids Area)

RE: RoadMaster Sterling tow hitch arms stuck?

I take my Sterling apart at least once a year, Clean the edge of the fiber bushing with emery paper, Removes dirty build up, if real bad, put a bolt throug them, Chuck up in electric drill and spin on a piece of emery, I got this from a tech At RoadMaster, do them as a set of 2 for even resurfesing, never use oil on the Tow Bar

RE: Tractor Supply: Pain in the.... Propane Problems

I stopped at a Menards up north for propane last year. Had to instruck the service guy on how to fill MH tank. Said he never filled one before.
