RE: Gas Statiom Pump Will Not Turn On

Check the fuse. opps sorry saw that. Is it the type you turn the knob on that has a timer? I've seen those go bad.

RE: RVer's BEWARE!!

So would you guys just recommend the stand alone inline surge protector that you leave outside your rig and risk somebody stealing it or just buy a hardmount that you can get inside your rig?

RE: Weekend Warrior touch up paint

So its been awhile, did the paint work out for you? I have a buddy that just got an 04 fiberglass side model and wants to repaint the door and the plastic around the lights since they are yellowing.

RE: What would you do?

Yes, with large washers and a rubber mat so it does not rub on the screws.
Cool, so install the boxes, secure with washers and self tappers, install rubber mat to bottom of boxes and then install batteries? Just making sure, also what kind of batteries are those?

RE: What would you do?

The battery boxes are Office Depot platic file boxes.
What did you use to secure them in place? Self tapping screws?

RE: What would you do?

Batteries are dealer installed items in most cases and have very little to do with the RV manufacturer. Your photo shows a large battery bank that should have provided ample power. Does your converter contain a multi-stage smart charger and is it large enough to properly charge your battery bank? Were they fully charged before the trip? Your batteries are not old enough to have problems unless your converter (or something) caused them to have a premature lifespan.
That is not my set up, it is the set up I want to go with. My set up was just 2 12v batteries that were full with water and had a good 5-8 hours of generator time the day before we went to bed.

What would you do?

So went up to Winnemucca Nevada and had a hard time with my batterys. Put it this way I was cold from like 5am-8am because the damn heater set on 65 drained the batterys and I had to use a jumper box to start the generator in the morning. Checked the water levels and they are fine, got home and happened to just want to take them out of their trays and boy was I pissed!!!! They were manufactured august and October of 06!!! My Weekend Warrior trailer was manufactured 1/14/08 and bought in February of 08 so those batterys were sitting for a year and a half!!! I want to throw them back at the dealer and ask them ???, but don't know if it was a warrior thing with the batterys or if my dealer just happen to swap them out before I purchased them. This is the route I'm thinking of going like jrburn has in his trailer just need to know where he got the trays that fit really nice in his warrior.
