RE: How Well Does Your Ford V10 Motorhome Tow Your Toad?

I towed my Toy p/up behind my Class C with the V10 for thousands of miles and could hardly tell it was back there

RE: Controlling dryness in my trailer.

You use a lot more water than I do in my Park Models. I put 5 or 6 one gallon milk containers in different rooms and I still have 1/3 or so in each one after sitting 7 months in the heat here in Yuma. I was advised 13 years ago not to put big containers of water out because it could cause rust on your cabinet handles etc. The wood in all 8 of my Park Models {rentals} are all in good shape, they have not dried out in the 13 years that I have owned them. I completely seal all windows, vents etc. I do the same for our 3BR Home here in Yuma also but I do put around 10 one gallon milk containers in the Home

RE: Slide problem frequency?

I have had three TT with slide outs for the last 14 years and never had a problem even one time !! I would never buy a RV again without slide outs , the more the better .

RE: Your Power Tongue Jack Reviews

Thank you to everyone who replied on this topic. Because of the feedback here and the other reviews I've read, I just ordered a Barker VIP (Black) 3500. :) Bought it through Mantelli Trailer Sales via their eBay store. Excellent choice !!!!!

RE: Looking to purchase a generator

I would recommend either two EU2000 Honda's or one EU3000 Honda as they will run just about anything that you want to run at one time

RE: Suggestions for Washington/Oregon in August

I would recommend that you look into buying the Zone Pass {two zones for the price of one} from Thousand Trails for $499 for the year then after the year is up you can resign for another year or walk away. We spend nearly three months on the Wash and Oregon Coast in TT Parks. Most of the time with full hookups but we never ask for sewer hookups {seldom} as we are fine without. IMHO Ore and Wash have the best TT Parks. We love South Jetty in Florence Ore and 100 miles north Pacific City TT, Seaside, Whalers Rest are great. We spend month or so in La Conner Wa which is close to everything.

RE: Where to put our Generator

I had two EU2000 generators but got a great deal on a like new EU3000 that I now use. Bought a H lift platform from Harbor Freight which lifts the gen up to the level of the tail gate where I made a metal platform which slides back and forth over the tailgate when I want to use it. The gen stays in the rear of the P/Up bed all camping season. I have a topper over the bed. I much prefer the 3000 over the two EU2000. Quieter also, takes up less room, will run all night with the A/C on

RE: Your Power Tongue Jack Reviews

IMHO the Atwood and Barker are the best. I would recommend the 3500. I bought a new Ultra Fab, not a refurbished unit, never lasted even two years. Lot of problems with it. Had the Atwood for 10 years before I sold the TT, no problems. Had a Barker for 6 years before selling the TT again no problems.

RE: Rear Kitchen Question

We have had three TT in a row with the rear kitchen. Still have one at the present time. Towed them over 10,000 miles and no problems with drawers sliding open, cabinets doors or anything so far. I do put a pillow in the micro when traveling.

RE: triple tow

As mowermech said above double tow in Calif is legal. My BIL has towed a boat trailer behind his TT for the last 20 years or so. He has also towed a enclosed MC Trailer at different times behind his TT {not a 5th w }
