RE: Leave tank valves closed even with full drain hookup?
We leave them both closed until it is time to dump. Leaving the gray water closed allows us to "rinse" the hose using the gray tank after dumping the black tank. Good luck.
RE: Slide stops moving momentarily while extending or retracting
Sounds like a self resetting breaker. I assume that you have hydraulic slides. You should find the breaker very close to the hydraulic pump. I had the same issue with mine. I replaced the breaker and all is well. Good luck.

While at the Minneapolis RV show we spotted an interesting floorplan. Crossroads Cruiser 355BL. Anybody own one of these? Looking to find how they hold up.
RE: Generators
You do not need an inverter style generator. Many choose inverter generators because they are not nearly as loud as the non inverter style. Good luck.
RE: Tongue Weight is too Light
Make sure that the water tank is not located in the rear of the trailer. If it is, it may take away from your tounge weight. Good luck.
RE: recurring Battery problem
Check the fridge. Many have a condensation feature that is operated by a switch on the inside top of the freezer door. It is used to help prevent frost build up. It uses lots of power. Check to make sure it is turned off. Good luck.
