RE: hydralic pump

refill the tank and use the pump. You may be able to find your leak that way. Good luck.

RE: What do you do in the winter with the batteries?

You can do either. Never store a discharged battery. I take mine out and keep them charged inside the garage. Good luck.

RE: 8 Hour Drive Saves $1800..Would You?

As others said, show him the quote. Decide how close they need to be to buy local. I would not be afraid to buy from a dealer eight hours away. Good luck with your decision.

RE: Rapid City SD to Broken Arrow campground

I assume you will be arriving on I90 on the East side of Rapid City. You will see a truck route that goes north off of I90 and bends back to the west connecting with Highway 16. Take this route. It will save you time. 16 then goes south toward your campground. Good luck. Enjoy the Hills.

RE: 1st trip out with new rig...a couple questions...

Good advice so far. As mentioned above, keep a few gallons of water in the black tank. I think it is best not to let it get dry. Anything inside will turn to a solid causing problems later. Good luck with your new rig.

RE: Satellite for travel trailer quetion

The local channels are spot beamed and will not be received at a great distance from your home. The rest should work just fine. Good luck.

RE: batteries in 2 places

Yes, I agree. Lots of line loss. It will be very expensive to run heavy enough wire to carry the load. Good luck.

RE: What to use for digital TV?

We too will be testing our "wingman". I hope it works. Not sure if some converter boxes are better then others. Good luck.

RE: Elevation adjustments

My Honda 2000s ran fine at 8800 feet last summer. I do have a jet kit for them but have yet to need it. Good luck.

RE: Traveling with full H20 tank Ok?

Should be no problem. They are built to be able to haul water. I see no issues in going with full tanks. Good luck.

We stayed at Buffalo Bill State Park. As mentioned above no hook ups, but has a great view. Can get a bit windy in the afternoon. Good luck.
