stable lift motor replacement

Has anyone here that owns/owned a stable lift ever had to replace a screw motor for this system and how much did you pay.

RE: suggestions of where to sell a camper item

As I stated in my question That I DID NOT want to break any files in the forum. I felt I was asking a legitimate question with no intention to degrade this web forum or any other web site. My apologize if I stirred up a ruckus.

RE: TC and street bike/cruiser

well you can all see what my future plans will consist of. We will also take our bicycles. Now the only thing in my way is time and that annoying thing called a job.Our son is out of the house and the daughter will graduate in 2 years, but thats not stopping us from short weekend trips.

RE: Am I the only Idiot?

take it to a repair shop and have it fixed. They should have the tools and knowledge to repair the wood and the siding. It needs to be water tight.

TC and street bike/cruiser

I know it kind of defeats the purpose of a TC but who loads up there street bike behind there rig and goes traveling , looking at the sites from your bike. That would be my idea of the best of both worlds.

RE: What mistakes have you made that might help others...?

when trimming the trees at the corner of the driveway, just trimming them to look good makes the siding on the T.C.look bad. Lesson learned to just trim the branches completely off.

RE: Redwoods and beaches: recommendations

Welcome to my beautiful state. There is alot to see here. Though I have never been on the jet boat ride I hear it is exciting. The Oregon Coast has numerous waysides to stop and look at the water and terrain which can be rugged to sandy beaches.Feel lree to ask for a good place to stop. I would suggest stopping at the Marine Science center and the aquarium just a few hours north in Newport. Stop at the sea hag in Depoe Bay and see Gracie play the bottles and enjoy the wonderful clam chowder. Still going north take a short turn into the small town of Pacific City then onto Tillamook and enjoy the air museum and the cheese factories. Further north are more waysides and take a stop in seaside area and take a stroll around Fort Stevens. Thats just a fraction of the sites in my beautiful state, I can go on for a very long time.

RE: Boat and TC

heres a quick tip. Have either a 2x4 or pvc pipe sticking out the sides with either a towel string or a throwableor life jacket hanging from the ends, pretty simple.

RE: Band Aid Fix for Hairline Cracks in Shower Floor

tHERE IS A NEW PRODCUCT OUT AT MOST HARDWARE STORES. IT IS A SPRAY RUBBERIZED SEALANT THAT YOU CAN SPRAY OVER CRACKS ON ALMOST ANY MATERIAL. IF SPRAYED ON A SMOOTH SURFACE LIKE A SHOWER PAN I WOULD FIRST SCUF IT UP WITH SANDPAPER TO ENABLE THE MATERIAL TO ADHERE. IF IT IS GOING TO BE REPLACED GO WITH THE MOST COST EFECTIVE REPAIR AND ONE THAT YOU WONT HAVE TO HOLD YOUR BREATH TO KEEP FROM GOING TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM. NOT SAYING THIS MATERIAL SMELLS GOOD BUT YOU SHOULD ALWAYS USE PRECAUTIONS WHEN USING ANY CHEMICAL,JUST USE WISELY. OOPS, SORRY FOR ALL THE CAPS.

the next TC I buy will most likely be new. I will order it nekked and then have my own stickers applied to match my vehicle and boat without the brand name.

rv parks around Disneyland

I may be working near Disneyland soon. Does anyone know if one of the many rv parks there allows TC's. I will most likely take it off for the 6 or more months I am there unless I take my motorcycle also. I'm thinking Anaheim Harbor RV Resort?
