RE: 5th Wheel Reliability

You get what you pay for. Expensive ones are almost always better quality than the less expensive. The one's your looking at are mid-range and the quality is about the same.

RE: work and camping..

Camping in the dead of winter (below 0 degrees extended time) sounds like an adventure but it's not. I did it for three winters in a TT that has the "Extreme Package". If you do, get the best thermal coveralls and electric socks you can afford. Be prepared for frozen holding tanks and elbows, water backed up in the shower, iced windows on the inside, etc. I'm sure you get the picture. Four season TT is marketing hipe and only good to about 20 degrees. I never owned a fiver but it would probably do better.

RE: Predictions for the one ton diesel HD shootout

It will depend on who of the big three pays the most for a banner ad on their website.

RE: Found this generator at Home Depot. "deal of the day"

That's the great thing about hearing aids and camping. I can adjust them all the way to surround sound or down to 'I can't hear jack or generators'.

RE: Well!!! Huh?

Guess I have it made full-timing anywhere I want and working on the road at 62. If I had to actually 'go' to a job every morning I'd go kicking and screaming.

RE: ? on unlevel slide out use

I've had my 12'x4' slide out when very unlevel and it was fine. But, all slides are not created equal.

RE: Need opinions on price

I would be trading the 250 in for it's bigger brother with more rubber.

RE: Need opinions on price

Thanks, But I've already done that and the NADA price is way higher than what they're asking. I've heard that NADA can be all over the board.

Need opinions on price

I'm looking for anyone's 2 cents on what they think this is worth 2013 Mobile Suites. At first I was thinking it was on the high side but, after looking around I'm not so sure. Really would like to move up to a fiver for my campground host job coming up in Spring 2015.

RE: Purchasing a new RV

Battery and tanks should be included, along with a starter kit with a bunch of junk to get you started. I'd still get the battery even if you don't need it.

RE: Pls help - My black tank level is incorrect

Who needs a sensor? When your tank is full your feet get wet. Same with the grey tank and the shower.

RE: Covering a bathroom floor - ( our new post)Update and thanks

The easiest thing to do is remove any vinyl flooring and delaminated subfloor. Then apply a self leveling compound like THIS Your floor thickness only changes slightly.

RE: Camper sightings on roads and hiways Memorial Day 2014

Sit on I-95 and you see something entirely different, or any other interstate for that matter.

RE: Four Season Packages

I have an "extreme' package. That means it's good down to 20 degrees. You won't notice a '4 season' enough to justify the trade off, I've owned both.
