RE: RVing in Phoenix in mid-Summer

Oh my goodness! Those pictures are gorgeous! As the previous poster suggested you need to sell some of your work to Arizona tourist org. Thanks for sharing!

RE: TX or NM and AZ?

You might add visits to the South Padre Island areas south of Big Bend or Carlsbad/Guadalupe mountains north.

RE: Gulf Coast Trip

The Mississippi Gulf Coast is a pretty drive. I wouldn't really call the sand "white" on the Mississippi coast. At least not like the Alabama and Florida beaches. We stayed in Cajun RV Park in Biloxi. Short walk to the beach. Fair Hope, Alabama is a neat little town. South of Mobile.

RE: traveling West on I 80 to Yellowstone with a 4 year old.

When I was eight years old my family traveled from Michigan to Yellowstone. We stopped at the Mitchel Corn Palace, The Harold Warp Museum in ? Nebraska and Wall Drug. We loved every minute of those stops. Times are different now but just in case...check them out! "Where in the he$$ is Wall Drug?" :D Sorry, couldn't resist. Wall Drug :h Texas Shadow is right. I was thinking about 90.

RE: Gulf Coast Trip

Fort Pickens Campground on the Island of Pensacola Beach is a great place to camp. Walk across the road and you're at the beach. Visit the naval air museum. We also spent one night at Big Lagoon State Park

RE: Coachmen 21qb 1st trip report if anyone is interested ;)

Sound like it works well for your family and you're enjoying it. That's what counts! I need to brag on our Sunseeker 2450, though, because the bed it wonderful. It is a Serta pillow top. We've had pop-ups, bumper pulls, three 5th wheels and now my dream (a class C) and we have never had anything with anything that didn't have crappy mattresses. (We are old folks so we need a good bed. LOL) Aren't the "Cs" great....you can just get in them and go! We have camped with our boys all their lives and it is some of our fondest memories. (They are now 34 and 37) Now we take our GD. Enjoy. Make memories!
