Ok in another topic I ask about trucks and fifth wheels. My new question is what does everyone perfer a 5er or a class A motorhome and why
If I were to live in it, I would prefer a 5'er (more creature comforts)
But I like to travel, so for now my home has a motor...
I am considering selling my 2012 5th Wheel privately – not replacing it (life changes). I currently have a portion of it financed, so the bank holds the Title.
Has anyone done a private sale of a RV (or motor vehicle – car or truck) that had a loan on it and the bank held the title? If so, how did you handle the financial part of the sale in a way to protect both the buyer and the seller? Did you use an escrow service? If so, which one?
Trading in a unit makes this type of situation much easier as the dealer handles everything, but a private sale without a clear title is something I have never done before on any RV or Motor Vehicle.
Thanks in advance for your insight and help.
Buyer needs to write multiple checks...
1. Deposit to you (usually 10%)
You draft an agreement of sale...both parties sign and get notorized.
2. Buyer writes check to your bank for payoff amount.
3. Buyer receives waiver of lean
4. Buyer hands you final payment upon delivery
All can be done with overnight mail....if buyer is financing, the lending institution will handle the legal work...
What are your thoughts between the two. I know that I'm going to have one of them installed shortly as we get ready to roll and I don't know if there is any big difference. I do know that I can get NFL Ticket on Direct TV. I'm just a homer so don't know if that would be a big deal to me if the cost difference was great.
Also thinking that I would get the kind that is kept secured to the ladder and could put out from any cover giving a better shot of seeing open sky. ?
Has anyone done a comparison?
Both services will work fine. It will come down to channel preferences.
check their channel line-ups.
