RE: 2012 Raptor with Towmasters = BOOOM!!!

Mod: personally I'm still waiting for someone to answer my serious question why there is no correlation between the weight of a tire and its (possible) quality. You really didnt expect a serious answer from a tire tread did ya?:BWas that pun deliberate? :) I guess we will see when this tread goes BOOM itself. Pun intended there.

RE: 2012 Raptor with Towmasters = BOOOM!!!

With all the problems these mfg's know of the china tires. Why do they continue to put these on the heaviest of trailers?

RE: Pismo Huck Fest 2013

Do they actually have dunes big enough at Pismo for that sort of thing? LOL... You might get lucky in the restricted area.

RE: Cylcone 4200 - Does it exist?

The holdup is either in engineering or in the patent process. But supposedly it's like nothing we've ever seen before in a TH. One rumor is that the rear door lifts up to the roof like the NASCAR haulers do. Interesting. I wonder if an RV builder can execute a lift as well as a race trailer builder? I have my doubts, but if they can do it.... neat!!! I'm been browsing stackers every once in a while, except it seems like to get decent living accommodations, price makes a BIG jump, and the LQ stackers all seem to have air-brakes. Seems like unneeded weight for a TH. Lots of hydrolics needed to make it happen. Espe ially for the rear where your toys will be.

You have been advised that you are on a must know basis.

RE: Be Safe Out There - Roll over in AZ

Looked like a 6 lug with a mid size trailer. We rarely get any good info about what happened. Those making sick jokes about the WP need to get a life. At least the WP care about peoples safety and don't make fun of the misery of others! Some of those wp are also doing 65mph in one state 70 in another and 55 in cali.speed limit is just a number just like tow rating. Its all about being aware of your surrounding and "your" abilty to react to any situation. Anyone can be as careful as the next. But all it take is someone or thing out of the blue that will get you.

RE: Be Safe Out There - Roll over in AZ

I watched the video several times, my eyes are not good enough to tell if its a 6 or 8 lug wheel Could it be one of those F150/1500 series trucks rated to pull 10 K ?? Looked like a single cab GM 1/2 TON. Chevy by the looks of the airdam under front bumper.

RE: Toy Hauler Information Overload! HELP!

KZ is a mfg. If you are looking for a good looking. Good quality toyhauler look at the garage model stellars or attitudes, Eclipse Mfg. They have really nice layouts and very nice interiors for the price. The cyclone, raptor, inferno, those are on the higher end in the baller status. Since you are new to all of this the eclipse or even forestrive brand haulers may suit you.

RE: Installing A Third Axle on a Weekend Warrior Question

RE: Installing A Third Axle on a Weekend Warrior Question

All the hangers should be the same distance. Just measure what you have and add 1 more. Ivylog has a good point.

RE: 2005 Fleetwod 335FS, good the bad ?

I believe some folks were having problems with the fiberglass sidings on the gearboxes. Im sure a can of worms will be opened with that. Dont think its a full wide body model.

RE: Bakersfield CA

What causes the bad valley air? Agriculture. Bay area pollution blows into the valley. The fact that bakersfield is at the south end of the valley where it collects. The only time I have seen bad traffic in town is at the 58e interchange and a few offramps on 99 during rush hours. Every large metro has the above mentioned problems no city is perfect when your community is that large. I have been all over the town making deliveries. It seems west of 99 is the "nicer" side of town and east of 99 seems a little more used. Bakersfield is a city were illegals are welcome. I cant think of the PC term they call it. No you will not have to learn spanish ( that was a stupid comment someone posted).

RE: UTV's and helmets

Can a street cruiser style helmet work for the sxs? Not sure what style that is but if it is USDOT approved why would it not work?

RE: FR 2013 xlr amp395 - carry 2 kayak on rv roof

Little sketchy on top. Couldn't you mount them to the ramp up and down? That seems more reasonable. Having them on top could create lift from the wind. Just the overall height with the rail system would be to tall in my opionion. Also the pain in getting them up and down, walkimg on the roof with extra weight.
