RE: Let the modifications begin

I have the same interior as you, I really like the table top! Are they affordable? oh yeah, cook your bacon outside-no mess!

RE: New ToyHauler

Feel the same way, hardly in the trailer! Yeah, it might be nice sometimes to have a bigger trailer but it's defintely not needed (atleast for us)!

RE: Chevy trouble codes

I did replace the ECT and went to have the truck smogged, it didn't pass. It did help a little by what the results said. It's still dumping to much fuel at idle! missed passing by 17 points!! He even ran it on a manual to help me. The tech tried to help me by turning up my idle to 975rpm. It passes fine at 2500rpm He said it could be possible the o2 sensors aren't switching. how do i check for that? My o2 sensors are new as of a few months ago.

RE: Chevy trouble codes

Well, I took the truck in to get a smog test--it failed! The tech said it's dumping way too much fuel in at idle! what do I do now? He said it was a possible misfire? I replaced my plugs a couple months ago, when it was misfiring and that took care of that problem.

RE: Raptor Generator Hour Meter

They just snap out. Very easy to change out. It was the first mod I did when I bought my trailer

RE: Chevy trouble codes

Thanks! I'll try and work on it tomorrow. Can I clean the ECT? Or do I need to buy a new one? Can I purchase from Autozone or Kragens? Question: What does an ECT have to do with 02 codes? I'm only asking because I don't know. thanks

RE: Chevy trouble codes

Do you have a pic of an ECT or a link where I can see one for my vehicle?

RE: Chevy trouble codes

I was having this problem awhile ago, and it would idle real rough and I could smell unburned fuel. And I was getting various codes like multi-cylinder misfire along with the 02 codes. I put new sparkplugs in, and new TPS, cleaned the EGR valve and put in new 02 sensors in bank 1 sensors 1 & 2 and 1 sensor in bank 2 sensor 1. Seemed to run just fine until about a month ago, and I was getting code P0161 which is bank 2 sensor 2 (the on ly one i didn't change) Yesterday is when I got those others codes. Truck still seems to be running fine. I had my air/fuel ratio checked it's at 14.7

RE: Chevy trouble codes

Did you check for vacuum leaks? ounds like the fuel pressure regulator is dumping too much fuel in at idle. Haven't checked yet. If it was the regulator, wouldn't the code come back as soon as I cleared it?

RE: Chevy trouble codes

I cleared the codes yesterday, and they haven't come back......yet. Seems like I get these codes only when the truck is idling after start up

RE: Got the porch/patio done today...

When you close it, do the cables get caught up in it or do they stay out of the way? Nice job!

RE: Safety Act Puts Kid ATVs, Motorbikes In Storage

Why then is there not a ban on pencils !:h My kid uses them in school and at home, how many times have you seen a kid put a pencil in his mouth. Happens all the time! Makes you wonder, are lawmakers really concerned about kids' health? Or is this just a way to curb our industry? :M There is No lead in pencils, It is Graphite, People just call it a lead pencil, Google it. Just thought you may want to know. Learn something new everyday! Thanks! Have pencils always been this way?
