RE: Air pin boxes

Like others have stated the 5th Airborne is ok but having to add air all the time is a pain. Have called Reese and they have sent me a new airbag and hose it still has a slow leak. Now they gave up on me and I don't hear from them anymore. I would try another brand next time.

RE: question about a really rough ride

I have air bags on my 3500 Ram, keep them aired just enough to stay off the overload springs. I also have an air ride pin box and flex ride on my trailer. Seems to work cause things stay put in trailer and truck ride isn't too bad.

Davenport Area

We will be in the area visiting. Plan on going to Le Claire, Amana Colonies and different sites in between. Any good full hookup campgrounds/rv parks somewhere in between? Going to need to do laundry about then so that's going to be a plus. Thanks for the help.

RE: Pullrite capture plate dilemma/questions

The dealer who sold you the hitch should have the plate. If not it can be overnight shipped. There is no way to keep the hitch from sliding without the plate and would you really want to modify the high dollar hitch? Been having a Pullrite for awhile now and really like it. The down side is different pin boxes will take a different plate. I have two different ones now because I bought a new camper.

RE: Best route to Eagle Nest, NM from El Paso, TX

We have taken 54 to 64 to Eagle Nest with our rig with no problems. A little twisty but good road and scenery. Take your time and enjoy..

RE: Fontainebleau State Park in Louisiana

Will be lots of water between sites. Might be best to catch it on the way back.

RE: why reply if you are going to be mean?

Grumpy Senior members, I just ignore them. Most people are nice and will answer your questions. Now and then I bite back, but mostly ignore the (_!_).... -

RE: Roadside Assistance Probelm

Ok Good Sam Care Team, your turn. My contract with GSRA is coming due. I never had to use it before but sure would like to see were this is going to go. We do a lot of traveling in the months to come and sure don't want to be stuck on the side of the road with some sort of hidden excuse. We are looking at other options but lean toward GSRA.

RE: Not a positive experience

So this will be your one and only post? I certainly hope not...I've been a member for 5 years, and never had to call for a response! My "bad-mouthing" wouldn't stop for years if something like this ever happened to me! I have a trip planned for Alaska in May, and I'm starting to get a little uncomfortable with my blind confidence in Roadside Assistance. That's what I'm talking about!!

RE: Coulter Bay RV park & campground question

Looks like the full hookup area. Make sure all your hoses/elect reach before setting up. Leveling can be tricky and hookups reaching, but can be done. Sites are a little tight but as said the scenery is well worth it. Enjoy...

RE: Glacier National Park Highway to the Sun

We tried mid June last year and the road was only part way open from both ways. Best go to their web site to find that out when you get ready to take your trip

RE: smokey mountains

I would suggest a park in Townsend. Real close to Cades Cove. A great hike to Abrams Falls from the Cove loop road. X2

RE: Colorado County Rod 9

The road isn't bad. We drove it last year. Pulled our rig on Hwy 9 all the way to Breckenridge. Going to Cripple Creek you will be getting off on Hwy 11/1 which is a good road too. When you get closer to Cripple Creek there are some switch backs and a little climb, just take your time and enjoy the ride. Message if you need to know more.
