A lot of great spots in the Gunnison area. There are enough people that share my spot already.

Coachlight in Carthage is a nice, easy in/out place to stay. Located behind a dealer ship in case you want to shop. lol

We had no major issues with our 01 Mountain Aire. Our 2006 Travel Supreme has been great. Knock on wood.

RE: Where to stay in Fayetteville AR?

Southgate is an alright place. It will be 8-10 minutes from the U. It is right on 71B, just south of the Road Hog Park which is just across from Baum Stadium (baseball). Unless you can get into Road Hog, you can't get any closer. We stayed at Southgate while our son was at the U.

RE: Washington State coastline?

One of the big differences (we thought) was how the WA coastline roads are not all that close to the ocean. Usually a short walk to see massive piles of trees that had washed ashore. We did enjoy and hope to did the loop again someday.

We used the KOA a few years ago. No problems with the stay. We now make our Hershey reservations a year in advance to get a site at Highmeadow.

RE: Which Manufacturers make a true 4 season class A ?

Depends on what kind of heat you have I think. Our Travel Supreme with Hydro Hot system keeps us toasty in any weather. 4 degrees and snow in Williams,AZ has been the coldest with no problems. Just make sure you basement thermostat is set and your block heater is turned on.

RE: Beaver Lake AR/Table Rock MO area

We have used Compton Ridge numerous times with the grandkids. They always have a great time. Probably 10 minutes to the lake from the campground.

RE: Beaver Lake AR/Table Rock MO area

You might look at Port of Kimberling Resort. Sits on Table Rock lake, has rv site, cabins, and motel rooms. Also boat rental. Just a few miles south of Branson on Hwy 13th. As for as I know, a lot of COE and State Parks around the lakes but none that rent cabins or rooms. If you just rv around Beaver, Dam Site park is one of the best. Sites are on a point so all site are on the water.JMHO

RE: Safe RV parks in the El Paso area ?

We also use the American RV Park, long wide level pull thrus. It's West Texas so not plants or trees. Just an easy place to stay with no concerns.

RE: Amarillo Tx and Commerce city Co

We used the KOA in Armarillo. It is on the route to CO so not out of the way. Can be train and airplane noise but an alright stay. Their is a KOA at Strasburg which is on the East side of Denver on I-70. Not a lot of selection in Denver.

RE: Bar Harbor Camping

We stayed at Timberland several years ago. We had a site toward the middle of the park. It was an ok stay and would stay again. The last couple of trips we have used the KOA Bar Harbor, not the Woodlands.

We used the KOA our last stay. Golf course on property if you like to golf. Seems to me like they are cleaning up the downtown area. We did fish in the lake. We enoyed our stay in the area.
