RE: Anyone tow a 6000 pound dingy?

We tow a Dodge 1500, crew cab with no problems. I'm sure it effects my fuel mileage to some degree.

RE: Carlsbad RV parks

We liked the KOA. While it is a drive, the wide streets, wide level pull thrus, friendly staff and the food made it worth while.

RE: 2000 Newmar Mountain Aire

We had a 2001 Mountain Aire with the 330hp Cat.7-8 mpg on a good day. Newmar makes a good coach. JHMO

RE: good motorhomes in cold weather

In our Travel Supreme, we were at -4 in Willams, AZ one winter. No problems staying warm with the Hydro Hot.

RE: Table Top State Park, Mo

First of all , it's Table Rock not Table Top. It is a nice park, right on Table Rock Lake. Branson sits on three lakes, Table Rock and Bull Shoals are warm water while Taney Como is cold water (ie Trout). Good fishing in all of them. It will be very busy in June, could be humid to very humid. Certainly not Colorado. Can not offer any info on sites as we always use Compton Ridge Campground. Branson is a great place. JMHO

RE: Dead exhaust brake?

Do you get a lot of black smoke when you give it fuel? I had a fuel pressure sensor stick so the computer thought it was always getting fuel, hence the jake brake would not kick in.

RE: How much discount on new MH?

I would think that 25-30% is realistic on a new rig. Maybe a little more if is new but older year model.

RE: Denver Area Campgrounds

Choices are limited, a KOA on I-70 at Strasburgh, Dakota Ridge in Golden, or a couple of state parks.

RE: Gulf front rv parks Alabama and Florida

The white sands at Ft Pickens made the trip worth while. As was said, just a short walk accross the street to the beach.

RE: Vantage Travel trailers

They are asking $26,900. Since Keystone is still in business I don't think support would be an issue. Have looked at Open Range also.

Model 29RSL or something like that. Maybe the reason it is discounted so much.

RE: Dollywood and Nashville Campground recomendations

We use River Plantation while in the PF area. Easy in and out. Have used the KOA in Nashville in the past.
