I highly agree with rv2go and fireman 93514, go visit Lee Vining and Mono Lake. If you have time go up 395 and visit the Ghost Town of Bodie, It's about 30 miles North. Have a great Trip!

RV.Net is my favorite site to visit everyday. I keep telling others to check it out. There is just so much information you can get on this site. I do check other sites occasionally. But, RV.Net is Number One in my book!

It sounds like you might have a battery isolator problem. When they go bad, usually one battery doesn't charge and the other one overcharges. Question, Did you ever get your Smog issue taken care of?

One other thought, You could head on Hwy. 36 west and go through Lassen Park also on the way to the Coast. Avoid driving Hwy. 36 west after you hit I-5, that part of Hwy. 36 to the Coast is for crazy people.Take Hwy.299. Have a Great Trip!

If you don't have any luck obtaining a screen from the Manufacturer, there are places who can make a screen for you. (Unfortunately, they are no longer in business) That's what I did when one of my screens blew off on the highway. Good luck.

I visited the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village last year and there were no real traffic problems to deal with. I want to go back in a few years and look around the area some more. I didn't have time to see the Ford Rogue River Plant and the Automotive Hall of Fame. Have a Great Trip!

Another place you can look is under RV parts on Craigslist or Craigseeker, sometimes someone is parting out a camper/RV. I have had success on both sites. Good luck.

I repaired mine with fiberglass matting and bondo from both sides, shaped it to look correctly and then painted it with white paint, 5 years later, it still doesn't look like it was ever broken. Mine was not cracked, there was a 2 inch hole in it.
