RE: Lots of Fiat 500 toads

Hate to say it, very bad reviews by Consumer Reports. But neat car. I might even try one out if I got a good deal.

RE: Any other ideas while I have roof off?

You might prewire just in case you or a future owner wants to add Solar.

Who all carries a DRONE while RVing?

Just curious? So whats it like? And what do you do with it? I have been thinking of buying one, for just kicks and curiosity. Any words of wisdom? Good or Bad? Whats a good beginning DRONE to buy for a duffer like me? Thanks. The reason I ask this, we were camped at Marin RV Park last week and I saw a fellow camper flying a Drone over the RV Park. But did not get a chance to talk to him.

Whats the best rope caulk?

For my fiberglass roof. Either rope or flat caulk is OK. Thanks. I want to seal my bathroom vent. I do not want caulk in a tube.

RE: free camping Cali/Oregon border?

If you want free camping, best bet is just to stay in the CA/ OR rest stops. For safety, I would park near the trucks. You can't count on Walmarts anymore for free camping in their parking lots. However the last time I was in Medford OR, the Walmart near Costco still allowed camping. On I5 is Rolling Hills Casino, below Red Bluff CA. You can park with the Trucks for free. Safe place. Free Coffee/ Soft drinks in Casino. Camping in the RV spots is $28. That about is cheap as you will find anywhere.

RE: Generator quieting

Might be tuff. I thought the Honda 3000 is one of the quietest generators available? Maybe an insulated box?

RE: waxing

I use 303 on my fiberglass roof. I never let it get too dirty. On my hand and knees, I spray it on and wipe with a paper towel. Working from front to back where my ladder is. I do not stand up. My roof looks like new. Gelcoat is like new. No caulking using my method. Has a pretty good shine and last fairly long. Even in the rain.

RE: Preparing to spend next winter in California

If you are going to be in Northern CA, I can give you some places to stay. Prices anywhere from $20 to $75 with hookups. Will average around $45. Better to stay for one month in each place. About $600 a month plus $ for electricity.

RE: Goodtimes RV Show Pleasanton, CA

I was there last year and was disappointed. It was just OK. A fair amount of new RVs. I thought there should have been more with all the hype I heard about. I will probably never go back.

RE: Smallest Class A with 4 slides

Regarding roll over integrity and general RV safety. My Born Free Class C has 3 heavy duty steel tubular roll over bars built in. Plus the newer Born Free's have slide outs.

RE: Born Free Vs other Class C's

You might think about joining the Born Free Forum. You can ask questions, place a want ad, and ask the members to help you look. Have you seen the BF on Ebay. It has a rear side bed. Looks like it will sell in the teens. Only problem, it is in Oregon, but looks in super shape.

RE: Wheres a good place to stay Vacaville CA /outlet stores?

Why do you bring up Campingworld? I have been to that location. You mean spending the night in the parking lot? What is the policy? Think it is safe?

RE: Wheres a good place to stay Vacaville CA /outlet stores?
