RE: Does anybody have the HarborFreight 2500 Inverter Gen?

Thanks to both of you for input. Good idea on the gas. So what kind of gas? Should I just Look for pumps w/o the ethanol sticker? Or, Just buy the most expensive gas at the pump? Any particular brands. Like Shell, etc?

RE: Does anybody have the HarborFreight 2500 Inverter Gen?

Thanks for input. Good 2 cents. And everyone else. I still tend towards the Honda 3000. Electric start. It will be permanently mounted on my rear hitch. I only have to lift it once. I know it is heavy. But I have something to think about. Vs the 2 each Honda 2000. I just want the quietest I can find. I have a Yamaha 2800 and it starts my 13.5 AC just fine. So assume the Honda 3000is will to.

RE: Does anybody have the HarborFreight 2500 Inverter Gen?

Thanks.... guess thats what I will try next, dues to its quietness. The Honda eu3000is. A little over $2000. Kind of heavy. Anyway to lighten it up? It will mounted permanently on the rear bumper/ hitch. Does everyone agree, this is the quietest Gen available?

RE: Does anybody have the HarborFreight 2500 Inverter Gen?

I know what you mean on noise camping. My New Yamaha 2800 is pretty loud and I am not very happy about that. I don't what I would replace it with? But, bottom line, I need something to run the 13.5 AC. For the wife.... not so much for me.

RE: How do I FIX Oxidized Plastic/ Resin Chair ?

Thanks everyone. I used my "303" on the chairs and it worked pretty good. Good enough, that I am happy. I would recommend anyone should try it. Also thanks for the recommendations of the "fusion paint". I do have some yellowed plastic on my MH. So guess I will have to try it. Never have bought this type of paint.

How do I FIX Oxidized Plastic/ Resin Chair ?

Just one of those $10 cheapy plastic/ resin chairs. Not oxidized that bad from the sun. Before I throw it away, anything I can do to save it? Like spraying with ArmorAll or something? Thanks..

RE: ? Which SS Percolator Campfire Coffee Pot ?

I bought the...Meyer Cookware 50124 Yosemite Percolator, Stainless Steel, 8-Cup. From Amazon. Was about 20 bucks. Check it out and be sure and read the over a 1000 highly rated reviews. I highly recommend. Good and heavy duty, should just do fine in a campfire. Mine says it a Farberware Brand.

RE: Driving in Windy Conditions

Good topic. I can remember driving on Hwy 1 along the coast in CA. The winds off the ocean where really strong and gusty. I made it thru, but on hindsight maybe I should have pulled over. Worst winds I have ever been thru. I was thinking my anti sway bars, both front and rear should have a larger diameter and more heavy duty.

RE: Picking up our new baby today!

Just curious, what is the true bumper to bumper length? Has a nice floor plan for something that short.
