RE: Wheres a good place to stay Vacaville CA /outlet stores?

Why do you bring up Campingworld? I have been to that location. You mean spending the night in the parking lot? What is the policy? Think it is safe?

RE: Wheres a good place to stay Vacaville CA /outlet stores?

Thanks for the good recommendation. Sounds nice. I will look into staying there.

Wheres a good place to stay Vacaville CA /outlet stores?

Where is a RV park near the Outlet Stores in Vacaville, CA Needs to be safe and fairly clean. In the direction of San Francisco is OK along Interstate 80. Thanks

RE: Buying first class C

Bang for the Buck. Lazy Daze Class C factory direct. Made in So Cal. New starting at 86K. So you could look for a real good used one. Beds are in the back on most.

RE: Comparing *Small* Inverter Generators

If you do go larger, Generac has a new gen called the IQ2000. Suppose to beat Honda and more quite.

RE: Upgrading from my Class C (Lazy Daze)

Check out Born Free. Very high quality and They have slides. Not sure about King Bed tho?

RE: Purchasing an RV 1st timer

Consider a used Born Free Class C. All fiberglass roof. 3 built in steel roll bars add to the safety and structural nature of the roof. Bully strong. I own a Born Free. Very high quality. No Leaks.

RE: Winter RVing in a Class C

Also watch out for moisture buildup. Get a "Buddy" type heater. Use RV antifreeze in black tank/ traps/ etc. Use bottled water vs your fresh water tank. Just some ideas.

RE: Winegard Rayzar Automatic

That antenna did not get that good of reviews. If you google, you should find more information including installation. It was some RV magazine, can't remember which one.

RE: What's Best Digital Antenna Upgrade ?

Good point about coax. I had bad TV reception. It turned out to be coax. Quick check is to run a test with a length of coax thru the window.

RE: What's Best Digital Antenna Upgrade ?

I have the Rayzar on my Class C and have been very happy with it. Gets a lot of channels. Plenty for me. Is more simple/ lighter/ easy to install. Only has one square tubing pole to support it. Cranks up and down easier.

What do you think the new Generac IQ 2000 will be like?

Suppose to be quieter than the Honda 2000. And you can parallel them. Thanks. Anyone bought one yet?

RE: Better TV antenna?

If you are curious what the above antenna looks like inside. Took a pic of mine. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z131/steves74/049_zpsizzga3yg.jpg

Which park in Half Moon Bay? I have always wanted to camp there.

RE: RV Parks in the San Francisco area

Did you pay 100 bucks? According to their web site the rate starts at $75.

RE: 19 foot class C

Check out the 19 foot Coachmen Freelander..... but NO SLIDE. There is a video on the net if you search. When you buy such a short Class C you need bang for the buck. Make sure it has an OH bed.

RE: RV Parks in the San Francisco area

We have stayed many times here and really like it. Marinrvpark.com in Greenbrae, CA. Not a real fancy park but clean and OK. Nice staff. But its pricey...about $75 w/ good sam. The nicest thing is you can walk to the Ferry and for $5 senior rate go into San Francisco. Great boat ride and views. Lots of places/ shopping to walk to from Park. You do not need a Toad.

RE: Art Bell is back on shortwave with talk radio.

Thanks. I use to listen to him all the time when he was on KDWN 720 am in Las Vegas. He was very entertaining. Not too long ago he was on Sirius. But not very long. Guess things didn't work out. I use to use my CC Radio with a Select-a-tenna.
