Quarzite 2016

Haven't seen a post yet so I'm starting one. So who's going this year? What dates where is everyone parking?

RE: Year of RV Doesn't Match Floorplan

There is also a legal procedure. Quite often it takes a year or even longer from the time the chassis was manufactured to the time coach leaves the assembly lane. I heard that RV manufacturers like to stretch the dates and post the final assembly date, when chassis can be quite different. They are not stretching the date it is the law. They are the final assembly manufacturer and declare the "manufacture date" not the chassis manufacturer.

RE: The Weather on the Central Coast

Heh heh...I was curious as to where the "central coast" was. I've heard of the east coast and west coast, but didn't know Kansas had a coast! LOL. Now I get it. :). Enjoy, we had snow flurries here yesterday and last night the temps dipped into the low 20's. Brrrrrrrrr. Yes Rick when your state takes up 2/3 of the western seaboard we have a central coast! :B Also known as the Gold Coast and the California Rivera!

RE: Show Haulers / United Specialties

Check licensing requirements in your state, 2 live axles in some requires a higher license. One reason busses and most motorhomes have a tag. You will also wee most of the 5th wheels using a class A truck will have one axle only on the tractor.

RE: regular extension cord to run some appliances

I do what you are talking about BUT my orange cord is a 12 gauge and I set the inverter for 15 amp input. I have even mistakenly had the AC come on and not popped the breaker, only other thing on would have been the fridge. Large cable as short a distance as possible.

RE: Quick disconnects?

As far as blocking it off get a spare hose and screw a plug into it.
