I think you're wise to be considering the Big Country. You said you "may" go full time in the future. Buy the new, lighter weight trailer to try out the RV lifestyle, using a lighter truck to pull it and then make your decision. I put one on my Bighorn and used the new hose that came with it. My Landmark came with one with a built-in shut off valve on it.
I found out about it while moving into the new trailer. I was hot and tired from moving all afternoon and only wanted a hot shower and to lay down. Got in the shower, turned on the water and "what the he**? no water... Twisted the handle and lo and behold, I've got water!
