Rubber in a can

Just wondering if I am able to use the rubber in a can on the rubber roof. has anyone ever used it and what was the out come? .. There are a few places on my slides that could use a little touch up and its much cheaper than the self leveling calk .. my slides are not leaking but it looks like they could be soon ..
Thanks in advance

RE: need help with 5th wheel hitch

Ok, I just found a sticker on the 5th wheel tongue (is that was you call it? lol) .. anyhow .. it says its rated for 19K .. does this mean that I will need a 20K hitch or am I still safe with a 18K?

RE: Water heater goes BOOM!

Well, Just found out the the E at the end of the model number stands for "Electric" so .. I kicked it over to that and all is good .. we will just run on that for the time being ...
I guess I need to change out the orifice .. there are 2 models .. 1 for 4k, and up and 4k down in altitude .. so .. I will have to keep both on hand i guess ..

Water heater goes BOOM!

So we are in San Antonio Texas from Salt Lake City, Utah. We are having an issue with the water heater trying to ignite .. we get getting what they call "Take off" at times when the water heater ignites ... in other words, every few times it ignites (not every time) the water heater goes BOOM! ... other times it ignites just fine .. and some times will not ignite at all ... I hear the ignitor clicking away and can see the spark every time I turn it on.
The flame is a nice crisp blue in color and I did adjust the spark ignitor a little to see of that was the issue. I moved it away from the ground probe about 3/16ths of an inch with no avail .. it still goes BOOM every once in a while. We are still running on propane from Utah .. would that be a factor? .. any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Yet another tire question

So, I was looking at the tires on the tt and they are 2 years old rated load range D ... The tt is 30 foot and we are currently living in it and on our way to Texas. My question is, would you all recommend that I upgrade them to a load range E? Or should I be ok with the D.
Thanks in advance.

RE: tire and rim rating vs. GAWR

Thats why you have 2 axles and 2 tires/rims on each side...
Tire load at 1760# x2 = 3520#
Rim load at 1870# x2 = 3740#

RE: A/C freezing up

This is from Bryant RV-
"THE MOST COMMON cause of icing in an RV roof mount A/C is the refrigerated air leaking directly back into the return air. "
This is exactly what was happening ... I pulled off the shroud in side the RV and there was an opening where I could put my hand threw .. it was Recycling the cold air back threw the condenser ...
I did not have any aluminum tape I had to use duct tape (will replace it later) but all seems good so far!
Not a lot of people post what they did to fix things so I figured that I would be one of the few that will .. lol
Thank you!
