If you can use power tools you should be able to fix . I would find out how far the bad is and just cut that out and then screw 2x4's around edge and in stall new floor . You could find linoleum that is close to a match .

We have a rear kitchen in a 30' Terry and like it a lot . More room , we have a rear window . We did a two month trip to Alaska and things in the cupboard did not move around to bad . It tows just fine .
RE: GPS which one do you have, do you like it, and why.
I have a Garmin Nuvi 350 it's easy to use . Lets you know when to up date maps and the company is good to deal with if you have trouble with it , you talk to some one from this country .
RE: Battery maintenance
Just make sure that the ground (-) and the pos. (+) do not touch when one or the other is still hooked to the batterys . There is no stored energy other then battery voltage .
