RE: You Gotta Love That Camper

That is what you get when you buy a deprecating asset!!! :B Just sold my 5er about 5.5k for for 4 years deprecation. Now I know I used it about 20 times a year. Also I used it on a 6 month contract making 80/hr. I am pretty sure it was cheaper than a hotel. Just got a Shadow Cruiser 850 1997 for 3k and I bought the truck a 2001 Dodge Long bed quad cab with the Cummins for 11k. Now anything I buy is going to deprecate. Just looked at boondocking spots, now I know I will have fun. Going to North Sand Hill in Colorado with the camper and the 1979 CJ-7. Now you cannot experience this in a hotel, I will be boondocking there also. Hey you gotta love it!!! :B

RE: Why this forum rules

Say, what kind of toilet paper do you TC Guys use. :p I get mine at Costco, Kirkland. I wonder what the TC gals use. :?

RE: Another decently priced starter camper

Hey, Mine is from Tigard Oregon but I bought it in BreckenRidge Colorado. Maybe I should take it back when I visit my Mom (Milwaukie, OR) if they are over inflated in the Northwest.

RE: Another decently priced starter camper

I just paid 3000 for a 1997 Shadow Cruiser 9.5 ft loaded so those are high priced.

RE: Weekend Trip: TCs rule the (A-Basin) beach - no sand...

Now that is cool, have to go next year. Just sold my 5th wheel and bought a Shadow Cruiser. Did always love the beach at A-Basin, doing the Winterpark/Copper/Steamboat pass this year, next year maybe the Colorado pass. Nice Gumbo!!! :B
