Oh my God, don't tell me snow. Now I want to head in the opposite direction.
I little bit of snow.....thought you'd be used to snow. Will be a good excuse for a nice toasty Bon fire....and a few warming drinks.
Okay, that convinced us to come north.
Will be leaving Wednesday at 9:30 pm after Arlene's bowling banquet. Driving as long as I can stay awake, But have to stop at the duty free store in Port Huron to stock up on cheap drinks.

Thanks for the suggestion. Volkswagen just sent us a compliance letter. We can now cross the border.
Are you sure about this. If Winnebago did not do a crash test on these units than it has to be 15 years old before you can bring it into the country.

Finish installing a 3 stage converter to replace the single stage battery boiler that came stock.
This one:PowerMax Boondocker
I went through that with my previous Pleasure-way Plateau but in a live and learn situation. The difference is all I had to do was add a $33 Charge Wizard to the existing converter after boiling a battery.
Your going to have to show me that charge Wizard setup at the rally David because I have an old converter and I am probably boiling my batteries.

Had the A/C compressor pump clutch pulley repaired. Now all I got to do is have the air conditioner changed over, checked for leaks and refilled after the rally.

What does it mean to "burp" the fridge?
To burp a fridge you take it out of the van and turn it upside down for 24 to 48 hours. Than you reinstall it and let it stand without turning it on for 24 hours.
I have had to do this to my 12/120 volt fridge 2 times in the last 7 years. Works perfect. Mine is 23 years old.
The reason for doing this is that it would run constantly and not get cold. Worked for me.

I think you are going to have to loosen the hinges inside the van and realign the back door. I had to do mine too. When it is out of alignment the catch on the door does not line up with the pin causing the door to lift up when it hits the pin in the frame. These long doors are a problem.

But the bikes on the back is going to add more length than the tire carrier. Where is your tire located. Centre of the door or to the left of centre. Mine is close to the hinges.

I did just that. Bought a SD card and went to the Garmin web site and down loaded maps for the US and Canada. I am now a happy traveller again.

We use sheets on our double bed. Fitted on the bottom with the stretch elastic clips underneath the mattress. (bought at Walmart). Flat sheet on top tucked in at the bottom. Nice heavy comforter on top. Can't stand sleeping bags in my older age. I need things to stay in place when I turn around.
