Slide topper fabric wrinkles on one end

I have a 2014 class A motor home with 4 slides. The slide topper on one slide wrinkles on one end when the slide is retracted. What could I do to remedy this problem? Thanks

RE: What's everyone using to remove mal ware?

Thanks for all the great suggestions. Will give a few of them a try.

What's everyone using to remove mal ware?

I downloaded malware bytes but they only give you a 'trial' program that expires after a week or two. Does anyone know of any other free malware removal programs that do a good job? I have Kapersky installed but not sure if that does malware removal. Thanks

RE: Cruise control will not de-activate when hitting brake pedal

I had the same problem and it turned out to be a short. Don't know where it was because it was fixed by Freightliner while under warranty.

RE: FOREST RIVER FR3

The website is forestriverforums.com/forums. Plenty of good info there.

RE: Noisy AC?

If it is Dometic, check with them. I believe that they have a kit that they will send you to replace certain parts that will lessen the noise.

Yes- the Solera has a fiberglass roof.

RE: Question for those with the Progressive hardwired surge?

It will take a while for the transfer switch to recognize that it is receiving shore power and switch on. The dealer should know that there is a delay until the transfer switch kicks in. The surge suppressor should not affect the power to the coach unless it has a delay feature built in.

RE: 13500/1500 air conditioner?

I would go with the 15k btu. Better to have the capacity and not use it than not to have it and need it. JMHO.

RE: Wireless fridge/freezer thermometer

I have the same one and love it. Sure beats opening door to see inside thermometer and losing a few degrees to do it. X2!! Really like it but the refrig temp reading can vary depending on where you place the sensor. But all in all, a very good device.

RE: Any tips on the tankless water heater

I was advised by a friend from the Forest River forums to lower the setting of the water temp on the water heater. This advice worked out great and the water temperature when showering stays consistent now. Thanks to all who responded.

RE: Sunpass questions

Sunpass is now sold visitors center and rest areas on the turnpike. You can also have them bill you. They read your license plate and send you a bill. The cost for the toll is more and they add a service charge (not sure what that amounts to and the cost per toll is about 30 cents more for each toll).

RE: Camping at Disney World

We buy 10 day, non-expiring, park hopper passes. They are a little more expensive but if you only use 5 days this year, you can go back next year or the year after and use any or all of the 5 remaining days. They days never expire. Good advice on Mouse Savers. You save the tax on the tickets and they send them directly to you. We found that this ticket gives you the best pricing but be warned that the sticker shock for a 10 day pass can be harmful to your health (LOL!!). When you break it down by day it comes to about $50/day. Hope you have a great time. We always do and have been going every year since '84.

Any tips on the tankless water heater

Has anyone mastered the Garrard tankless water heater? After 3 weeks of using the water heater, I still have not been able to take a shower without the water temp going from hot to cool. Have plenty of water pressure (about 40psi) and I make sure that there is no air in the system. Not sure what else to try. The water temp is hot initially and after I set it to a comfortable temperature it then varies between hot and cool. I am using an Oxygenics shower head. Any tips?

Dash Max AC

I have a 2014 motorhome on a Freightliner chassis. When travelling the other day to Key West, FL (I apologize to all who are experiencing effects of this winter) I switched the dash air conditioner from the AC setting to the max AC setting. There was no difference in the fan sound and no noticeable difference in the cooling. Has anyone else had the same experience or am I having a problem with my dash air conditioner. I'm sure that on my '08 coach that the fan speed increased when set to max AC. The '08 also had a separate button to engage the air conditioner. My '14 only has a vent, AC setting, and a max ac setting. Do I have a problem and what could it be? Thanks

RE: Whirlpool Refrigerator

Sorry it took so long to reply but we are on the road and busy sightseeing. Also, the internet has been spotty. Seems that the 'navagator' (aka better half) might have put something over the sensors. When we moved things around in the fridge and freezer, things went to normal. Thanks to all who replied.

RE: No Max-AC

Yes, it is the dash AC and I do not notice any difference when turning the switch from the AC setting to the max AC setting. On my '08 coach I did hear a louder fan when on max AC as compared to the normal AC setting. I will check with others who have the same coach to see if they notice any difference in loudness on max AC.

No Max-AC

I have a 2014 motor home on a Freightliner chassis. Tried the max-AC setting on the air conditioner for the first time and there was no change from the normal AC setting. I know that it is under warranty but was wondering if anyone had any idea as to what the problem could be. Thanks.

RE: Whirlpool Refrigerator

First I would verify the thermometer is accurate. A cup of ice water will give you 32 degrees exactly. Second the fridge side may have over chilled trying to get down to commanded temp. Open the door and allow the temp to rise a few degrees above what the temp is set for then give the fridge time to get down to set temp and check again. Third where you are measuring the temp will have an effect. At the vent it will be very cold just like an air conditioner. Move your thermometer to the center rack. Since it's not an absorption fridge your best source of info or repair help is you local home fridge expert. Take the coach to them and I bet just to have a look inside your coach they would give free advise. Dale, as for the accuracy of the thermometer, I put a second sensor from another thermometer in the refrigerator and they are within 1 degree of each other (27 and 28 degrees). The sensor for measuring the temp is in the middle of the middle shelf. It has some food and beverages in it but it is not full and it has been on for a week now. Another thing I don't understand is why the freezer shows a 7 degree reading when I set it to -5. I did this because it was set to 0 on the door and it still showed as being 7 degrees in the freezer. I was hoping that there was some sort of reset that needed to be done after turning the refrigerator on after it had been off for a few months. Thanks

RE: DEF pumps at Flying j/Petro/Loves etc

I don't understand the need to pull into the fuel lanes backwards. The DEF tank is on the passenger side of my coach towards the rear. I have 2 fuel fills on my coach- one on each side toward the front. If I pull into the fuel lane where the fuel fill hose is on the passenger side, wouldn't the DEF hose be on that side also. I may have to pull the coach up so that it reaches but I'm not sure why I would need to pull into the fuel lane backwards.
