Protect All or 303 Aerospace

Going to put something on my fiberglass roof to protect it. Which will last longer- Protect All or 303? Also, which will do a better job of protecting the roof? Thanks

RE: Save money..lay off firefighters

It appears that they will be paid only when needed and from a different pocket. If you can get them that way it saves paying them to sit around. That is the direction business leaders are going these days. They have this by us already. It's called an all volunteer department!

RE: Biobor

Do you know if that is if it opened or still sealed from the factory?
tmmar 06/26/15 06:55am Class A Motorhomes

Does anyone know how long Biobor lasts once the container is opened. I usually only use it when the coach will be sitting for more than 4 months which is usually around the end of the year. If I open the 32oz bottle, I will not use it up for a couple of years so the remainder sits around for a while.

Harbor Freight Batteries

Got some freebie batteries (AAA's) from Harbor Freight the other day. Does anyone have any experience with these batteries? I see that they are zinc chloride batteries. Do they have a tendency to leak at all? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

RE: Waze app for navigation?

I use Waze both in my Jeep and in or Motorhome. I generally know where I'm going, I leave the navigation to my wife. But Waze keeps gives me heads up to what's directly a head. Knowing there is a car, cop or object in the road is a great asset. My wife does any reporting while we drive as she's running Waze as well. You can reroute with Waze, so play around with it and understand the features. X2!! As Y-Guy said, I like the alerts about road hazzards, police, and even red light cameras. Great whey you are travelling in an area that you are not familiar with. Also, gives my wife something to do while we are travelling. :)

RE: Rental car insurance

If you have an amex card, they offer rental car coverage for $25 or $30 per rental if you charge the rental on their card. So,if you rent a car for a week, you would pay the one flat fee and would be covered up to, I believe, $100,000 and they would pay everything. No need to go through your insurance at all.

RE: Free Upgrade to Window's 10?

Got the invite and decided to go with 10 because I don't really like 8.1. Hopefully it will work out.

Why am I getting all these pop up ads??

When viewing different posts, I will see certain words appear underlined and in blue and when you mouse over them, an ad will pop up. Also, I am getting other video ads popping up in the lower left corner of the screen. I ran malwarebytes and superantispyware but am still getting the ads. Any suggestions as to how to get rid of these? Using firefox as a browser. Thanks

RE: Ever had your mirrors hit by a pasing truck?

This is one of my concerns, especially when travelling on a narrow road into oncoming traffic and there is a truck coming the other way. Also, I did have a guy pulling a trailer pass me on the drivers side and hit my mirror with the camper. I was lucky that I caught up with him a traffic light and got him to pull over. Cost him over $500 to get my mirror fixed.

Good Sam Website

Disregard. Must have been a problem with their website. Seems OK now. Is anyone else having trouble logging in to the Good Sam Website today? I am trying to log in and it keeps telling me that my password is wrong even though it is the same password I have been using for a long time.

RE: Diesel Pushers, Do The New Ones Smell?

The new diesels use DEF (Diesel exhaust fluid) and have very little diesel smell. The DEF is used so that the diesel emissions are cut out.

RE: Looking for SMALL Scissor Jack for Under Steps

Amazon has this one available that folds up. Just another option to the scissor jack. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0024ECHII/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_3?pf_rd_p=1944687542&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B00CB4L6JW&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0ZRFPD849370E3H1JME9

RE: Question, Exhaust fluid, Duramax,Repair shop

Read your emission warranty, usually 5 years or 100,000 miles. I thought that the emission control system was warranted even longer than 5yr/50k. ' Specified major emission control components are covered for the first 8 years or 80,000 miles of vehicle use (whichever first occurs)' Not sure if this applies to you but you could look into it. http://www.epa.gov/obd/pubs/420f09048.pdf

RE: An observation on WAZE app

Is it possible that because of where you were when you encountered the traffic that there was no way to get you to an alternate route? Also, if it had suggested an alternate route, you may have then had 16000 other wazers on that route as well.

RE: Fort Wilderness in July

We have gone during late July and early August. Is it hot? Certainly. Just as others have said, go early, leave mid-day, and return later. Make use of the pool at FW. Get some bottled water in plastic bottles and freeze them. Take the frozen bottles with you and they will melt during the day and you will have cold water. Staying hydrated will help. You can also bring some snacks with you if you don't want buy food at the park. Tom
