RE: Tires

I bought my Maxis tires from Discount Tires off the Internet. They were "fresh".

RE: Tank Flushing add ins

I have had the Tornado flush on my last 2 trailers. They work great and personally I would'nt be without one. I think I might install one on the grey tank as well.

RE: New Awning - power or manual

I wouldn't trade my manual awning for a truck load of electric awnings. I have had both and much prefer a manual awning.

RE: Temps up, how cool can you get inside?

I've pondered adding additional insulation to my ceiling. It's a 3" trussed roof with 1"x1" aluminum framing. There's basically a 1" gap between the ceiling panel and the insulation and AC duct work. If I pull the staples out of the ceiling panels where they attach to the trusses, I wonder if I can get enough room to slide in pieces of 1" polystyrene insulation? That would about double the R-value in the ceiling.
If you end up compressing the existing insulation you will be defeating the purpose.

RE: Adding Electric to gas hot water

They come with a "hollow" anode rod that the heating element goes through. The Lightning Rods are a nice upgrade. I have installed them on 2 of my previous trailers and had great luck with them.

I use a pizza stone and it makes a huge difference.
